Been busy sorting Dylan's bedroom and scrubbing blue felt pen off the stairs carpet! It's been a quiet day though so I've not missed much. DH is just on the way back from Ikea with another storage unit so hopefully it will be orgsnised and tidy now.0

Vicki - never been caravanning myself but the caravan site looked ok as we went past on the little train;) Hows Dylans sleeping go? my two didn't stop their afternoon sleeps until they were about 3 and ready to go to school nursery but all children are different and all sleep differently DS1 always slept better then DS2 as a baby but now its the other way around;)0

Lola, The beauty of the CC was that it was mostly in a farmer's field with no facilities. It wouldn't have been that bad but we went every weekend.
Dylan's still not sleeping very well but has started to play a bit while I get a sort of doze so an improvement. I'm not sure about the afternoon nap really, I'll give it a week and see what happens. He never naps on his own, it's alway in the car, buggy or on me!0 -

Evening,
Was hungover today after last night's Rufus Wainwright gig (Rufus wore a black cloak with a feathered hood and a 12 foot train. It was...um...an interesting outfit!).
Terrible hangover outfit today of:
- Rufus T-shirt drunkenly purchased last night, in size Large which must be an 8-10 if that. No wonder most women were buying the men's tees! If I hadn't been so sloshed I would have done that too!
- Skinny jeans (again)
- Black biker ankle boots
Unwashed hair and hangover skin - truly dreadful.
Off to bed - can't wait to feel better tomorrow. Never again etc etc etc!

Hi everyone, catching up late again!
BBQ was lovely, the sunny wishes worked - not a cloud in the sky.
I'm being ruthless with my wardrobe at the moment. Going to have a big ebay spree on sunday I think.0 -
morning all lovely sunny morning again here, theres a 'rummage' sale at 10am somewhere near me so thinking of going along,still not 100% though following my sickness bug so will have another cup of tea and decide.
Vicki - the CC looks a bit smarter now though I must admit the thought of communual showers blocks etc fills me with dread and I've never been:p
Need to do a huge supermarket shop today hate that on a saturday:eek:
No idea of what to wear my wardrobe seems to be dwindling fast due to the weight loss which is a good and bad thing:p0 -
Good morning, beautiful weather here, too, though it is very strange not to be at work. I'm signed off for 2 months for now, and then of course I'll be in hospital (give or take)
Hated the pitying looks when I took my sick note in yesterday.
Best friend is off work today so we're going to visit my grandparents like we usually would,
I love spending time with my family and bestie...she's practically family anyway!
Not sure what to wear yet. Hmm. Think the farmers/craft market is on, so might have a browse round there...and I believe there is a car boot sale happening tomorrow so must find out details of that!0 -
Morning all!
I follow this thread but have never actually posted on this one ( i did once on the previous fashion chat thread
)
Anyway i'm after a bit of advice, i bought a pair of white combat trousers the other day, i was thinking of putting a white t shirt, and a lime green light weight boyfriend cardi with it (does look good LOL) the only thing is footwear! What footwear to go with it? Normally i'd roll the trouser legs up and wear my trusty flip flops :rotfl:but the weather looks uncertain this morning. (heavy sea mist - clearing a bit but not sure how warm its gonna be)
I've seen ladies round here wearing very simular but with the ugg style boots, which seems to look good on them, the only thing is i'm 36 and very self consious (really scared of looking like mutton dressed as lamb
)
I'm trying to sort a new wardrobe but i'm finding it difficult as seem to have lost direction!
Any advice would be really appriciated.My beloved dog Molly27/05/1997-01/04/2008RIP my wonderful stepdad - miss you loads:Axxxxxxxxx:Aour new editionsSenna :male: and Dali :female: both JRT0 -
hi squibbs and welcome to the thread, what about a pair of pumps the plimsoll type? although I think uggs would be fine, I've got uggs and I'm 36 in may but know what you mean though in some shops some of the stuff I feel too old for.0
