Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Oh what can I use to make holes in a belt I want to be smaller :(

I have used a corkscrew in the past! Not exactly recommended but does the job :o:p

A screwdriver (phillips one) to start th hole off then widen it as needed with one side of a pair of scissors- only if its a leather type one though- thats what I did with mine :)

I'd second the corkscrew, but then I've only got cheapy belts. If it's a decent one you should use a punch. If you flutter your eyelashes at the guy behind the counter in a shoe repair shop he'll probably do it for you for free!

I've had a busy productive day and the weather's been lovely - I'm sure the two go hand in hand. I've been scrubbing down the highchair that's been stored in the garage all Winter, planting seeds and repotting seedlings. Trying to patch up the lawn with grass seed with DH. Hung the first washing on the line of the year and added another item to ebay.

I'm feeling really sad getting rid of all the baby things.

seconding the cobbler idea. If its not free it will be very inexpensive. AND SAFE. I'm terrified you girls doing things with corkscrews. I had a nasty accidten with some thing designed for making little leader holes for screws trying to shorten my stirrup leathers as a kid, never again!

Dont feel sad look at it as a positive thing- think that Dylan is now going onto a new stage and you can reclaim some space too!

It's the breast pump that's getting to me most Retro. It saved me from insanity while I was ill and even though it's a lump of plastic it's very sentimental.
Thing is our house is too tiny to hoard things.

Keep it then- it wont take up much space in the loft will it? If it means that much to you I would- I know what you mean though our house is doll house sized compared to others.

If you're going to use scissors please, please get an adult to help lol!
Seriously though, Do it away from you on to a cork mat. Honestly go to the cobblers (thanks Lost I had a block again on the word, is that the first sign of going a bit doolally?) it'll look better and it'll be a giggle hearing how far you took the flirting to get your freebie!

Yeah, our loft is a bit of a black hole! It's silly I've kept it this long really. I've been keeping it with the justification that if I was hospitalised I'd need it or if I needed an operation or mediaction I might need it but I now think I could really do with the money. Plus I could just use the one in the hospital if I needed one that much.

It was £95 new (my Mum and Dad bought it for me when I was upset, so nice of them) and they said it was OK to sell and put the money towards something else. I'm waffling now, just trying to justify it and the way I feel I suppose.
