Is it just me or do some posts on this H&B board (not us) seem to be getting more aggro?

I haven't noticed but then I haven't been on many H&B threads apart from this and the weight loss ones. Which ones are you referring to?

Enjoy your time with OH :D

I didn't confront them, they weren't good friends either, just people who through circumstance ended up being friends. I just stopped answering their calls and deleted the texts. If I do bump into them I'll probably bottle it and say I've lost my phone/changed number:o
They've both stopped trying to get hold of me now.:j

    That was easy! :rotfl:

I've not heard from any of them bar best friend in ages, and if I text them it often goes unanswered.

    Awwwwwwww (((hugs)))

Alex I hope work isn't too bad when you're sleepy, you should reward yourself with an early night tonite when u get home if u can :)

I forgot to unset the alarms properly when I arrived so I woke myself up in a hurry :rotfl: It's going to be a coffee fuelled day methinks!

Thanks Vicki, I know what you mean,
and I also fully acknowledge that I'm not in any fit state for the days out we used to have,
even going up to Tesco which is a five minute walk requires a sit down part way, and going to cafes for coffee and a chat does get boring after a while.

I seem to be having one of those emotionally charged days,
too much thinking going on in my head.

Aw honey, I don't want to slag off your mates or anything, but they shouldn't be thinking like that! One of my mates was incredibly depressed for quite a long period of time and we didn't go "oh she can't do fun stuff anymore, let's ignore her", we did the stuff that she felt happy doing when she felt ready to do it.

ps - coffee and chat is never boring!!

Is anyone doing anything exciting this weekend? I'm so unused to being home over Easter that I don't know what to do with myself! Considering coming into work on Monday cos I can take the day in lieu later in the year when it'll be more use to me...

No, I hate bank holidays, especially Easter as there are two. We don't celebrate Easter either so there's no event. DH has to work all bank holidays while everyine else's OH is off work so nobody wants to do anything. All of the usual places to go are pakced full of bigger kids and I am in a right bad mood about it.
I've got some baking plans for later once I get myself and Dylan dressed (oh the shame).

I can recommend Daisy's Easter biscuits :) I baked a huge batch of them last night for people at work (part of the reason I was up till 3am!)

Well I got a big bag of grated carrot yellow stickered yesterday so I'm thinking carrot cake muffins.
Also picked up a tin of croissant pastry in Aldi, think it was about 80p to make six so we might make them as well and have one for lunch. They're about 130 cals each so as long as I only have one with some low fat cream cheese and a smidge of bacon in it it will be OK. Maybe not if I have a couple of muffins too though. I suspect this week will not be loss week lol!

    I've been Money Tipped!
re friends, I went through a natural sloughing off when split from the ex, which dealt wth a huge number of people. Ours was an acrimonious split and I didn't want to hear about him or have him hear about me...which ruled out LOTS of people! Then when I got ill a lot of people's attitudes really changed towards me. I look very different, and I'm only the life and soul of a party in 20 minute bursts before needing a nap. Also of course, is the fct I don't enjoy the same things and places because of those changes.

Its a bit scary. When i was really ill and couldn't get out and was tired and confused and frustrated when I did the internet became a real refuge. In increasingly, as I get better and better, I feel the need to challenge this internet comfort zone and meet real people. Things like the shortness of temper here, and changes on the other board, the debate board, make me feel this is more and more important ATM :( with the time restrictions I now have, with the animals, and the issues of living miles away from my remaining RL friends, sometimes countries away....its easier to chat with nice gals like you lot but I have to start pushing my boundaries more :(
