An insole or thick socks should work!

I'm just having a cup of tea before washing my hair,
so far I've had a nice bath and painted my toe nails hot pink,
and been out for a walk with my best friend

There certainly seems to be two camps on this thread.
One is those who are slim yet keep having "fat" days and feel miserable about it frequently.
The other is women who've had kids or for some other reason been a larger size and now having lost some weight (or even not) and are embracing their new shape. Even if it's not a size 8-10.

I know that myself being in the latter category I find it bewildering hearing these comments, although I used to be the same before getting pregnant. I also think it a little insensitive towards the bigger ladies because if you 8-10's are fat then what does that make the rest of us!!l!

I just hope that you lovely slim things can see what's really there in the mirror before you *do* get older and bigger and make the most of it while you can!

So consider yourselves all told off. You know who you are lol!

On a lighter note I did ever so well at the boot sale this morning despite being late, hopefully I'l update my blog later with my finds.

I used to think I was fat when I was a size 8/10 - now I'm more size 14 than size 12 and think I have a fantastic figure :rotfl::rotfl: amazing how your self image changes as you get older!

i was same i was a curvy 10 12 really slim with lovely wee figure in all the right places :p but my 2 elder sisters were size ten and more boyish shape we could all wear each others clothes but they looked "wrong " on me and i felt that i was HUGE and as i said in earlier post low self esteem made me think bigger = fat = bad small = skinny = good
after i had my daughter i went back almost streaight away to a size 14 and was still compeateing (in my head ) with my sisters and a siz e14 in jean jeans 6 months after haveing a 9lb 5 baby wasnt good enough for me !
over time a bad break up depression and the contraceptive implant meant my wieght crept up 14 16 18 20 22 24 at my highest
i realised at some point that there was no competion between my sisters and i for men we all had VERY different tastes anyway my family loved me and thought i was beautiful no matter what
i get many jelous comments about my lovely blue eyes thick healthy blonde hair ( not so healthy or blonde atm but lol :rotfl:) and erm even at my biggest my curves were in the places that men want them to be ;)actually some of the creepy fetish BBW lovers on the internet helped me come to this realisation
its all about confidence and im startng to get that back and shockingly my weight is dropping off :T
which i think is more what i meantr earlier i used to say i feel fat when i meant i feel insecure and slightly jelous of the figure my sisters had
the i " felt " hungry when i felt was a deep clinical depression and PTS after coming out of a destructive relationship
im trying very hard to NAME and own my feelings and not just take it down on body issues - im crap having a bad hair day fat day bad skin day -
sorry for the essay guys need to learn to :silenced: haha

Afternoon ladies. Just back from carboot and a walk up Arthurs seat after a rejuvanating coffee. Can't believe it is actually warm enough for a picnic down in England. It's freezing here and so windy.

I got some really nice shoes and boots for myself. A pair of lovely clarks edwardian style ankle boots brand new for £3 and a pair of pretty Miss sixty kitten heels for £2. Also a pair of Purple and gold suede tall Irregular 001-1.jpgChoice boots for £8, but they're so too big for me :(

I looove those Clarks boots!! Jealous! And it aint warm enough for a picnic in Northern England lol

Meds- Love the Clarks boots am so jealous

Phillipa- couldn't agree with you more before children I was a 10 had abs and the lot but couldn't see that I had a fab figure - I started dieting after Christmas couldn't justify my baby weight when 'baby' is almost 7:o so have lost over a stone but feel the most confident ever but then I am one of those happy smiley people (probably that drvie others mad) :rotfl:

Queen- I will let you know what i do about the boots.

On the subject of figures, I'm a curvy size 12, thankfully with a waist and i actually now know what suits me and I have to say most of the time I look okay- 10 years ago I was a size 6-8 but it was hellish to maintain and when i look back at photo's I look awful-way too thin, but I still thought i was fat:eek:.
Definitely learn to like yourself more as you get older.:D
