I went to new look yday and showed my age daisy. All the dresses in there are so short! Plus I'm not exactly the most body-confident at the moment. But seriously, there was a pretty mint green lace one I liked, but it would have barely covered mid thigh, so I won't be purchasing that anytime soon lol
felt like an old lady though with my comments
of "how short?!"

YES
I am finding that too, especially with ones I've bought lately, they used to be a really good length and now I'm almost exposed :eek:

I always feel really show offy when I wear short dresses, like I'm drawing attention to myself, but shops don't make it easy!

Well there wasn't a dress I'd hve bought in there yday, all way to short and I'm only 5ft 6 so not exactly towering over the masses lol

It's crazy isn't it? I'm used to things coming up short on me, but for them to be that short on someone of just over average height is insane!

That's why I ended up taking the grey floral one back. Even with opaque tights I felt it was uncomfortably short :-/ oh well. I'm sure we'll pop into primark or somewhere today..
Going for an alice inspired outfit today I think..I bought a blue/White checked skirt from h&m yday and some cream lace tights..so I'm thinking those with a tshirt and a hairband lol..

PF - (hugs) I love the sound of the Alice outfit!
I'm off swimmming in a bit, then 2 emergency Mystery Shops that they phoned begging me to do, they threw in some nice incentives so ever helpful I said yes!
Not relishing the prospect of bugging sales assistants on a Satuday though especially with Dylan in tow. Fortunately they should only be 5-10 min ones.

Oh lost it's fun. I try and cram it into lunchtimes or weekends as I also work full time..
