Oh Lost, how gorgeous! I've always had a fondness for greyhounds, so elegant and dignified. Our builder has 14, they often come round for a visit (although the cats aren't keen).0

does anyone know what to do if an buyer wants to cancel their bid after they have won and item and the listing is closed??*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150

Great photo Lost, although I'm not a dog person really, I do quite like greyhounds. My DH's aunt has a couple of blue muzzled whippets, lovely looking dogs."All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.
I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.0 -

You can do a mutual cancellation, Queenie. In "My Ebay" go into "Resolution Centre" and select "I sold an item and wish to cancel the transaction". As long as the idiot (I mean buyer) responds, you'll get your fees back and you can offer the item to the next highest bidder or relist.0 -
Hi gals,
Sorry I haven't been around for a few days. We were internetless ()over the weekend and work is crazy busy at the moment, sick of the sight of spreadsheets atm.
I've just bagged myself a blue silk Monsoon dress on ebay for £3.00 plus p&p. The seller has tried shorten it rather unsuccessfully, but I can sort that out easily.
Todays outfit......was black!
black long sleeved t-shirt
black frilly short over
grey straight skirt
black tights
black/gre/silver tartan high heeled courts (love 'em!)
bright pink lippy
Off to catch up with you all............could be a while by the looks of the page count.0 -

I want a whippet, would look like dog-dogs baby:D. i want a complete sighthound collection really,
:D but its not likely to happen.
In our house there is no question, the cats, one of the cats, is in charge. she rules the dogs with a paw of iron.
But dg-dog is very beautiful, she's my very best accessory, she goes with everything!0 -

Just got back in from a pretty stressful trip to town. My foundation ran out this morning and I still hadn't found a replacement as the shade is discontinued.
I spoke to the Estee Lauder Lady who gave me two samples of Doublewear which I've heard is good. At least I can see if I like it without spending on a whole bottle.
Also bought a clear no 7 polish with the voucher and while I was browsing a lady gave me her voucher as she didn't want it so I got an eyebrow pencil too!
Bought 2 eyeshadow palettes in Iternacionnale (sp?) which were half price and then buy one get one half price so for both it came to £2.60 ish.
Also got some play money for Dylan on the market to go with the Boot Sale till, a couple of sticker/colouring books and some fruit to keep him happy in the buggy as he wasn't co-operative with his nap lol!
Then decided to pop into Tesco (where I parked) to pick up some veg for dinner and some washing detergent, and this is where it all went wrong. He wanted to get out of the buggy - fair enough, so he "helped" me push, then he saw toys on the bottom shelf, Thomas toys and wanted them, so I'm trying to explain that they were expensive toys and that they are for birthday presents, and Mummy can't just buy big toys like that but I was loosing and he had a MASSIVE tantrum. *Mortifed* I attracted sooooo many disaproving looks and sneers, while trying to calm Dylan down. In the end he was just screaming that he wanted boo boo and so I managed to move him and the buggy into a discrete area, I sat in the buggy and he soon calmed down, it was a last resort but he'd gotten so upset, I'm really disapointed that one of the staff didn't offer to push the buggy to the till while I carried him but I was absolutley stuck. Anyway, he suddenly decided that he needed to do a wee, so not wanting anything else to go wrong I whipped out the travel potty and hid him behind the buggy. Fortunatley he then was happy to push the buggy to the till and get in the car.
Oh My God. I don't know if I can cope with anymore today. I've had to have a coffee to calm my nerves, and NOW he decides to have a nap.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that's better!
Im sorry but that all made meas Im glad Im not the only one....it doesnt get easier they just get louder :rotfl:
