I can't do small talk for the life of me, I'm completely tactless and just ask ridiculous questions.
If you understand Stourbridge that's okay. Have you been there? Great charity shops and a nice Wetherspoons (ain't I classy?)

Cookery books, tricky. My "foodie" pal swears by Rick Stein and I must admit any of the creations taken from the books are pretty wonderful. Hugh's always a good one and I know Delia has her critics but her books are easy to follow and classic.

Questions are fine! I haven't been there properly, just to pick her up to head off elsewhere. Must go and have a hunt round the shops with her though :)

I think I'll be spending a bit more time on Amazon this evening!

    Afternoon / Evening all

Been awol - just busy with everday things and outfit wise, sunday -jeans, monday - the same a saturday and today jeans again but with a pale blue Monsoon mac out of the CS - although hubby just pointed out a small hole in shoulder - but I'm not too bothered, paid £4 but I do get bored of clothes easily.
Wardrobe wise - mine is only a double door but with two hanging rails top and bottom, wicker baskets along the shelf at the top full of accessories and necklaces etc on the inside of the doors on hooks.

Pirate - I managed to get your necklace so PM me your address and I will pop it on the post- hopefully tomorrow

Ooh Lola - was it you who wanted yellow tights?

I'll get to mine some time this week. What size are you Daisy?? I can have a look see for both of us.

Ohh, I'm all paniced now - I'm pretty sure they were tescos but they may have been from superdrug now I think about it. They are pretty polly anyway and not an shop brand which is why I am a little confuzzled to where they came from

I think we should definately have a meet-up sometime. Dunno about a mansion, looks impressive from the outside and like a junkshop inside :o.

I was thinking the same thing the other day...not that your house was a mansion but about a meet up but I think you are all too far away from me:( Else I would be harassing you all into going shopping lol

Don't worry I'd probably do enough talking to make up for any shyness.
Mind you, don't know whether you'd understand my Ozzie Osborne accent.

Lol, are you very black country then Goan? Years and years ago I went out with a guy who lived in Great Wyrley - some cracking accents round there!

Daisy, it might be worth trying Boots for navy tights. Our local one had some reduced to 89p, but they only had small/medium otherwise I would have picked some up for you. I'll keep my eye out in the other branches. They also had Celia Birtwell red ones, but again same price, same size.

M&S have some nice tights half price in their sale which started today - I got some beautiful purple rose printed ones for £3 and some merino wool ones in a lovely plummy colour for £5. I was very tempted by some grey argyll ones and some stripey ones, but resisted. I only went in for a white vest and came out with a couple of bras (£9 & £7), two pairs of grey skinny jeans - the colour and fit were perfect and it's so rare that happens with me I thought I'd get two, especially as they were only £7, knickers, and the two pairs of tights - and I forgot to get the vest.
