Nikki- oh no to reacting to clinique! I hope your skin gets back to normal soon.

    .

They did refund me (well OH) with no problems so can't really complain I suppose. (Well I can, the spots are icky!!)

Hopefully it will be back to normal in the next few days, back to using the oil cleansing method, seems to be the only thing I don't react too! (no chemical nasties!!)

Now I just need to find a nice foundation that won't irritate me, wont clog my pores and doesn't make me look like i'm unwell/green/pale! I think minerals may be the way to go.

A few people have suggested Lily Lolo. Bit more expensive but apparently worth it?

I have tried minerals before and found it very strange that it felt like I wasn't wearing any make up!

Will investigate later when I'm not at work (I'm naughty, supposed to be retraining but my head is pickled!!) Oh well only 7 minutes to go.

I think, from when I first started using their makeup, lily lolo lets you order samples first,
and price wise, I found them good value compared to other ranges :)

    Oooh Retro that's so lovely.
I need a new foundation, my Virgin Vie is going to run out soon but it's been discontinued.
I need a really pale one, usually the lightest shades look very orange on me. Then I have really bad skin prone to spots so need to be careful about the formula, I need one that doesn't block pores. i think mineral would be great but at the moment I need the coverage that liquid gives.
No 7 had a shade called alabaster but that was only in an anti ageing formula which I think might be too moisturising for my oily skin, ah well at least I should wrinkle less lol!

I'm the same with foundation Vicki, I am so so pale. I find Babara Daly by Tesco (I think it's called oil control or something similar) in the lightest shade is perfect!

    Right, off to the kitchen.

Sorry to hear about your uncle Retro xx

After my distrupted sleep and busy day yesterday I feel awful and very snappy. Changed some shorts for a bigger size, it was obviously when changing a 10 for a 12 that they didn't fit me and the women on the desk kept saying "oh, so there was nothing wrong.. just too small then." I think I must have shot her a look of death as she quickly shut up. Oops!

Managed to get a sequin skirt in New Look sale (thanks Daisy for the heads up!) Apparently skirts don't count on the no spend rule..

Tsabo, Im with you when it comes to rude sales people, in the past I've been known to leave my shopping on the basis of rude remarks or comments, and tell them they're the reason :-/

retro, lovely dress but sorry to hear about your uncle :( feel free to vent this way if you need to xx

daisy. Good luck in the kitchen :) i cooked Sunday lunch for the family, and watched the f1 and am now unbelievably exhausted, back home with the sun streaming thru the windows and trying to fight off random tears! Fancy taking a book down to the garden as it's so nice, but it's communal to the flats and don't know if I want nosy old ladies asking me why I'm crying lol
Just having that kind of day :(

alex I knew it :-p but nothing wrong with that lol x

and lola I hope you decided to open the wine x

The sun seems to have gone, so have stayed inside with the windows open instead.
Feel restless and at a loss for something to do, despite the fact I have a list of things which need doing. Too exhausted to get up to actually do anything though :(
