Sounds fab I love it! Do you have a hairband? That would creat the 60's look without the hassle of styling (or if you hair is unruley like mine)..a nice thick black hairband is what you need...not that Im encouraging you to buy anything else you see.....*whistles*

I should have thought of that when getting dressed, d'oh! Stuck at work now so will just have to try and make it look less vile.

    Afternoon all! :)
Busy morning today, I've sorted out lots of paperwork and letters that need sending - off to photocopy and then post them. I feel very professional.
Also packed up lots of ebay things so shall be posting them too.

I think i've finally fixed my chest of draws so I can put things away again instead of having a pile of summer clothes on my chair. Finally!

Wearing today: black leggings, grey boyfriend cardi and a Topshop vest top that is dark grey with a light grey Eiffel tower on. I'll probably be a bit too cold but I wore this all last summer and it's making me feel happy wearing it.

Hope everyone is having a nice monday. :)

Hi everyone! I've been awol all weekend as it was my middle daughter's (the autistic one)18th party yesterday, she'd invited 40 people, most of whom turned up so it was mad! It ended up going on til midnight, everyone enjoyed it I think and I know I did! It's her actual birthday on Thursday so we'll be doing it all again then...

I'm slobbing today so no exciting outfit, just black cord flares and liquorice allsort striped jumper with stripy socks peeping out from my Mary Janes to make me happy =)

  • Afternoon all,

Have been busy girl this morning sorting, photographing and listing on ebay, have listed 53 things and it's taken me hours!

Plan to get properly dressed in a bit, just been in scruffs this morn cos I've been in the loft and sorting things out, it's gonna take a while to sort the house out for moving :( but needs must :)

On a very happy note my green shoes finally arrived which I'd won on ebay ages ago, I'd given up hope but they came this morning and I'm a very happy bunny :D

Just had a gorgeous lunch, soy cheese, peparoni (sp) and soynuts with roasted butter nut squash with cajan seasoning and salad (rocket, spinach, cherrys toms, cucumber, green pepper, which a little walnut oil, it was yummy :D

Oh Queen, what soy cheese do you use/where from? I'm quite interested in trying it...
  • I'll check for you in a min the exact name, I bought it in camden in fresh and wild, but I know you can buy soy cheese in holland and barrett and health food shops, it's the first time I've had it and it is gorgeous, I tried the smoked variety. I don't eat cheese cos it's a problem for me so this makes a really good alternative, in fact if I didn't know I would have thought it was real cheese :D

Oh I will check out H&B, I so wish we had fresh and wild here..we did but it closed :( I can't handle real cheese either, bar goat's cheese and do quite fancy some for a change (with marmite, naturally)

Queenie that sounds yummy. Must sort lunch out before I head out at some point today.

VERY UPSET atm as I went through to get changed out of my robe (was drying my hair) and put on some makeup and came back to find Miss Mitten has pulled half the keys off the laptop keyboard and lost one of them  so I had to shift the (very heavy) leather corner sofa and the coffee table. Eventually found the key along with a mahoosive black and apparently dead spider by the skirting board - now I know what she's been disappearing to play with every now and then. Also discovered my new Dotty P dress has a small rip in it, not sure whether to take it back or just mend it. Was wearing the dress with one of the skirts underneath as a petticoat, but with me having to shift things am now wearing:

Brown lace up knee boots (eBay)
    Pale purple tights (Ethel Austin)
Black embroidered skater skirt (La Redoute)
Black devore skull pattern t-shirt (Peacocks)
and a very grumpy expression indeed.

UGH off to move the dead spider. Can just about cope with live ones, dead ones give me the screaming heebie-jeebies for some reason. _pale__pale_
