    Morning lovely ladies.

Beautiful day here, although it's still freezing. Got my shift times mixed up (again) and got up an hour earlier than I needed to. At least I checked my diary this time before I went to work!

I absolutely hate ironing. However, I've got one of those steam pressure irons, and they are an absolute godsend - it really speeds things up no end and makes ironing slightly more bearable. DH does his own shirts, probably because it used to take me an age to do one shirt.

Dressed for comfort and warmth today in:
    black leggings
grey handkerchief hem long sleeve jersey tunic
grey waterfall front cardigan (has a sort of Fair Isle border in purple white and yellow). Not sure if I'll actually keep this on, just I'm flipping cold at the moment.

Haven't decided which boots to wear yet. Might dig out a pair of Pied a Terre tapestry ones. I'd had my eye on them for ages, but at 240 they were a no-no. I then spotted them in TK Maxx about six months later for £25. Bargain! :j

Suppose I better go and get myself off to work now. Have a good day ladies.

    Morning all

Outfit for today is mostly New Look - 60's style black tunic dress with cream crochet trim and my black and cream pumps. I would have liked vaguely 60's hair but it's being uncooperative and just looks greasy instead :(

Hi all, long time lurker, second post on the thread! I have a favour to ask... has anyone, in their travels, tried this on ?

    http://www.newlook.co.uk/1924462/192446249/ProductDetails.aspx

I love the look of it, but as a rather curvy 12-14 (top heavy...) I'm not too sure. I live in Oz so can't try it on and am therefore seeking advice about fit, drape etc from anyone who may have come across it in the recent shopping trips you lot seem to have been on.

Many thanks in advance for any advice!

Welcome Almo :) I love that dress the shape is really nice....I havent seen it in real life Im afarid as Im more of an online shopperI think you could get away with maybe belting it in to show your waist if you are like me heavier on the top? I personally dont suit round necks I need more of a scoop/ v neck but then I am bigger than you lol

Sounds fab I love it! Do you have a hairband? That would creat the 60's look without the hassle of styling (or if you hair is unruley like mine)..a nice thick black hairband is what you need...not that Im encouraging you to buy anything else you see.....*whistles*
