I'm good at it online, or when I cant afford to be, but as soon as I have some money to spend on myself I find it hard?! Haha. I'm so backwards.

Make it a challenge then :D Buy something completely on a whim, no talking yourself out of it allowed!

carline73 has just made me guffaw!

    This morning I wore

Maxi dress (black and white) with leggings underneath (footless tights seem to have gone dancing with out me). Cheap blue flats from Tesco last week I think....blue cashmere bolero cardi. New parrot on a hoop earrings from Monsoon....I don't think I've ever worn hoops before, these are sort of oblong, not round.

Much better than Tuesdays fiasco, and they are actually, helpfully, going to check out the situation if I get partial treatment outside EU. Baby steps....

I'm now wearing...um, pants and a long t shirt, Im going to scrub the fron drive.

I also saw some of this: http://www.makingjewellery.com/10-questions7.html jewelery recently and was planning to buy a piece that had stuck in my mind...but on revisting though I love it I don't think the piece would have suited me well.....so, its something for the future maybe!

Your outfit sounds gorgeous as you know I love black and white together (too much).....are you really scrubbing the front drive in your undies though?:rotfl:

    that jewellery is amazing.

you sound like me I see tons of stuff I can't afford then when I have some money I see nothing! Hence why I still have gift vouchers left from my birthday in December lol

I got £100 of New Look vouchers on Boxing Day morning and had spent them 10 hours later

Glad I'm not alone! I'm actually finding it harder to justify spending ANY money lately
(though my purchases this week say otherwise) but compared to how I was a couple of years ago, and to some extent six months ago this is a whole new me!
I only ever feel enjoyment when spending on other people.

Caroline- everyone knows vouchers don't count as spending ;)

I'm a binge shopper - I don't do it for ages and ages and ages then I go mental and get mildly obsessed with it for a few days (ie this week!).

Alex- that is more what I am like I think, I used to buy something little like, every day and now I'd rather spend and go on a spree every so often and really enjoy it :)

I think I need to concentrate my shopping urges on presents for other people instead. Will research Mother's Day presents tonight - I know what I want to buy but haven't got round to it yet, eek!
