kandi, thanks, I love the dress too! its seen me thru many occasions :D I have it in black and ivory!

boots are brilliant aint' they? now I'm going to want to keep both the grey and the black! DH is going to be shaking his head again :p hope you can find them, not much stock left as its a sale item

the only person I can borrow from around here is MIL and her heels are a minimum 3.5 inches and pointy! I probably haven't got much walking to do tomorrow night, but don't really want to risk falling flat on my face just walking down the steps outside my house :o I'm that clumsy with heels

Caroline, barelegs?!! not mine they're not fit to be seen bare at the moment :o have 2 huge dry patches on my shin that are red and raw.. plus the numerous cat scratch marks and way too pale and sickly to be seen in public :rotfl:

and thanks to everyone else who likes the dress and fluffy scarf :D glad to know I haven't just got artist taste (ie eccentric and beyond odd) and deluded to think it looks nice :T feeling much more confident about tomorrow now... haven't gone on a formal dinner sort of thing for donkey years! now I just need to worry about my hair..

Siaoeh - Just wanted to say that I adore your puddycat. I can see him (?) trying to get in on the action. Typical moggy.

I'm trying to make a list of needs for tomorrow. Other than my Bro's birthday present (which is coming out of my money, not the money Dad's giving me) I'm not coming up with much.
    NO CLOTHES
but maybe an underwear set in Primark as that is an epic need
hmm. And maybe some nice chocolate? I had a craving last night, and it'd be a wonderful treat and challenge :o

daisy, what about some hair accessories? You have such pretty hair :D Either that, or dare I suggest, a hair colour?

Oh yes, hair accessories are something I lack, I'm just so minimal with what I do with my hair as I find it hard to manage.
I'm getting it trimmed again at the end of the month and colouring it after that :) I have to be in the right mood to tolerate having my hair fussed with, so regular colouring isn't an option :(
*plans to go back to her natural red*

I'm not very good at frivolous when actually in shops. I keep finding excuses NOT to buy something!
