Oh how frustrating retro0
-
retro your butterfly necklace looks lovely! and such a bargain too :T wish I spent more time in town looking at the jewellery in the charity shops, was in a bit of rush then
this is a fabulous thread. you girls are really enthusiastic about it, which is simply fab! I'm usually in dreary lazy clothes, comfort before style I thinkthough I do try, and as I mainly own similarly coloured clothes (note: black) they all go without too much though
I am getting better though and looking thru this thread is helping me feel much more motivated

Siaoeh, it's about making small changes that you are comfortable with. Accessories are always a good, and often cheap way to start0
-
My Poetic Licence shoes have arrived ! :j Only one slight little problem, they're a very small 6 so I'm hoping if I wear them around the house they might stretch a bit
.
I also ordered some orange pumps to go with my orange cardi and bag and they arrived too (I only paid for them yesterday so a very super quick delivery !)
If I can find something to wear under the orange cardi, I think I might wear it, the bag and shoes tomorrow. Am going to Brighton so people won't even bat an eyelid over the bright colour.
siaoeh, if it was me I think I'd opt for fashion over comfort and wear sandals? Only my humble opinion though, I'm still a newbie.

Jtb, I do so love that orange cardi of yours it is such a cheery colour!0

I too love that orange cardi! I cant remember if I commented on your blog as im having a *lot* of problems with blogger atm grr but it does look fab!**"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0

Thank you ladies ! It's not as bright as the picture makes out, more of a burnt orange if that makes sense? The handbag too. I'll take a pic of it on, it might show the colour a bit better in a different light/angle.
Sorry to hear your having problems with blog retro - mine's not exactly how I want it but it'll do for the meantime until I can find something I like better.
siaoeh, it won't be long before you're filling up your wardrobe with vivid colours - trust me ! :rotfl:
Is it lunchtime yet? I'm starving today and it's taking all my self control to not eat naughty things !
Leading on from siaoeh's question about shoes, I've got 'problems' myself. I'd love to be able to wear heels but really struggle - do you think I need to 'train' my feet again? Or am I doomed to wear heels only in a sitting position forever?:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -
Oh the blogs fine its just when I go onto ohter peoples blogs it will let me comment on say 2 then it keeps coming up with an error message...i think im having one of those days today lol
ETa you can train your feet to wear heels again, I dont wear many now they arent practical for me duirng the day but I do when I go for a night out...try wearing them round the house/ garden (not to do the gardening but you know what I mean) as it will feel very odd the first time you put them back on**"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0 -
I go through phases of being able to tolerate heels and not being able to, I used to wear them all the time, but switched to flats for college (six flights of stairs and needed a special pass for the lifts) and since then I've struggled! I'm determined once the weater is warm enough to not require boots I am going to "re-train" myself. Practise makes perfect0

heeled boots are a good way to start wearing heels again as you feel more secure in them also the chunky heels are better than stilettos to start**"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0
