You always look great in your blog pics - don't be calling yourself sad or old! As for goth, I rather like goth style. And if it suits you and you're happy in it, what's the problem? :)

Would you mind telling a makeup thicko what to do with it? :o It looks and sounds good and for the price it seems worth a try. Dunno about which shade to pick or what to do with it though!

i too have the shimmering face whip and its a little tube of heaven! Seriously I always hate powdery blushers as they make me look like a drag queen and they are so cakey on my skin- but this is so nice and always makes me look fresh....use just a ickle bit though as it goes a long way! I have the pinky one erm cant remember what its called...suits my pale skin.

I should be a rep for ELF shouldnt I? lol

Sorry to butt in, but re: the swishing idea... would it not just be easier to create an account on Bigwardrobe and give each other your usernames? Apologies if this has already been mentioned :o x

Can I safely assume that swishing is the clothes swap idea? Can someone please translate for the un-adventurous (ie me) lol

Evening ladies, finally made it back on here and only a mere 12 pages of chat to catch up on!

Mariel, I absolutely love the button boots.

Alex, what about woollen tights with your dress as a sort of tights v leggings compromise? TK Maxx have some Elle ones and Falke for around £4 - I got some mid-grey ones and a lovely rich burgundy/red pair today. They've got a high lycra content in as well, so don't go baggy either.

Rainbow, make sure you go to the docs. I had a uti last year and I've never felt so ill - I had a temp of 102 and I felt like I'd been hit with sticks.

Got my hair cut today - ooh, but it's a bit shorter than usual. Think I like it though. Like Caryn Franklin, I have two grey streaks at the front of my hair. However, the cut has now exposed my two grey streaks to be almost white now! They're also now getting wider.

Currently slobbing out in vintage Levi button front denim skirt, black 3/4 sleeve tshirt and orange & pink glove socks, snacking on cocoa cherry pie baked granola nibbles, listening to Mumford & Sons.

Oh, nearly forgot, Boots have 75% off all Urban Retreat products at the moment and I just couldn't resist the Reverie perfume for £6.24.

Hi lovely chatty ladies! Feeling proud of myself as I have both got dressed and gone out today - hurrah! Went to see a friend's new baby (very very cute but glad I didn't have to stay the night!) and wore a new grey dress from People Tree (http://www.peopletree.co.uk/products/marielle-tie-neck-dress/?osCsid=fe520ab4d4abcdf7452e6baf542f550d) , purple tights and brown boots. I even washed my hair and put on some make-up so I must be on the mend!
The fruits of my 2 weeks of online shopping (whilst off work poorly) have started arriving en masse and I can't believe the amount I bought, definitely going to have send some back or my credit card bill will be crippling! Today there were some bits from the Bnevertoobusytobe beautiful sale and some Stila make-up that was reduced from a site I found on MSE (I spend way more money since I started coming on here!). People Tree parcel arrived yesterday containing dress above plus another dress and a skirt that I can't seem to find on the website anymore.
I am both scared and excited about what may arrive tomorrow!
2012 is going to be my year - bring it on!:j

Oh no, whilst finding that People Tree link I saw this new dress - http://www.peopletree.co.uk/products/roisin-umbrella-dress/
I usually buy stuff from there in the sale but don't know if this will hang around and I really want it! Will have to drop hints to OH about getting it for my birthday I think.

Wow, I love it! I could never spend that much though. Maybe if I bought less but spent more on one thing...hmmm?
