Queenie - hello!! Ooh is that the BHF on Bold St? I might come in and spy on you if I can ever find the time to get to town :D

Don't worry about the parcel - I'd actually totally forgotten about it! Looking forward to seeing if it's arrived now though :)

Vicki - so glad it went well for you :) You'll have to let us know if the press coverage gets online.

I've been busy.... distracting myself from the housework I should be doing, oops.

RW - I'm so sorry you lost your pet. Always tough.
Char - That is way to early to be in work. Make sure you do take a day off next week to make up for it.
Queenie - Good to see you. Sounds a fab way to spend your time.
Vicki - Glad to hear it all went well.
Alex - I replied to your comment on my blog giving you a wee heads up.

Well I really should go do some of this housework. It wont do itself and I have a friend coming to stay tomorrow night. Kinda excited as we are off to see Pink in Glasgow on Sat so making a real weekend of it. Staying at the Malmaison and everything. Yay!

Afternoon all. Sorry i'm awful at posting recently, i'm a bit out of the loop.
The Topshop sale started today, anyone get down? I got a long white vest with an eiffel tower on in beads and a plain black dress with a ruffle neckline. The reductions are pretty good.

Also got a denim All Saints shirt in the charity shop. Saw a nice dress too but it was £22?!

I'm off to London this weekend but promise i'll try catch up when i'm back!
  • it's fab char, I really love it, I wish I could do it full time but there isn't any jobs at the moment and it doesn't pay that well anyway. I'm going to keep doing it once I'm working again though, I never knew how much work and effort went into running a charity shop.

Yes Alex the one in Bold Street, they get some fab stuff in there but it goes quick. Got a gorgeous cropped topshop jacket in there yesterday :) Hopefully the top has arrived today, I hope you like it, it's just a pretty little green strappy vest from zara, quite sweet, if it's not your thing give it to charity, I won't be offended :)

I'll be glad when this world cup rubbish is over, I don't mind the odd game but it's on ou tv all the time when OH is home :(

I'll try and be less of a stranger. I miss Daisy, I'm writing and texting with her but it's not the same :( hopefully she'll have internet soon :) x
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

Hello Queenie and Vicki - good to hear from you both.

PF - In the office at 5am? That's crazy hours, you must be shattered. Sending hugs.

Got a chiffon/lace top thing in Topshop sale for £15 down from £30. I'd like it at full price so can justify. New rule - only buy sale stuff if I wanted it when it was full price and don't buy something just because it's a mega reduction.

    xx

Pirate, I'm going to get cross with you, just how I do with my husband...work at 5:30m and home at 11 pm is NOT healthy. Its no wonder you have a lot to do, because you didn't have any time to do your on stuff today. You have to take care of yourself or I shall get very, very cross.

edit: I did in fact get this cross with DH yesterday as it turned out....he had a very late night and an early start this morning.

I know lost, I wasn;t at work all that time, left work about 6pm, and then had two meetings in the town which i run my guides, one for my camp planning, another with all the leaders from the district to start to plan our event in october to mark the centenary year finale.

    Outfit today:
white dress with yellow rose print and heart shaped cut-out, tesco (F+F?)
yellow patent peep toe slingbacks, new look ??
    yellow s/s cardi

not organised enought o remember jewellery or photos..blog being neglected atm as there is just no time for it.

    Happy Friday!

Looks like it's going to be a lovely warm weekend.

Wearing jeans and the lace top I got in the Toppers sale last night.

A couple more pics from the awards in the usual place.

    Have a brilliant weekend.

queeeeen! glad to hear from you and i'm so jealous, i really want to volunteer at a charity shop, just not sure when i would fit it into my life atm :S

vicki, really glad that all the hartd work that youve been putting into the picnic sounds to have paid off - how was the giant bra??! lol

The bra went down very well, the Mayor and Mayoress cut it open to launch the strategy. There's a lovely article in the Weekly news but it's not online so here is a photo that one of the girls e-mailed me. I'm on the left hiding in the crease! I'm very proud as my bunting is also in shot!

PF - you do enough volunteering as it is with guides. I don't think there are enough hours in your day as it is. Hope you have a more restful one today.
