goan it sounds like you'll be easy to spot, i'll keep an eye out :)

I'm with you guys on the wellies thing... mine are strapped on and have plimsols (with thick insoles thanks for the idea goan :p) and plastic bags in. Ive given the boyfriend a bit more stuff and suggested taking the wellies out but he seems to want to just have a carrier bag instead.
I've started colouring the spots on the wellies with sharpies in procrastination from sorting other stuff but i might save it for the long car journey. we're getting the train to a friends & theyre driving down overnight. Very long journey but at least im alright sleeping in cars.

I tried to wax my legs but im covered in sticky stuff that i'm struggling to get off and still a bit hairy anyway. Salon next time i want waxed legs i think.

aww, its so sad when pets die :( I like pet rats, they seem smart even when they're being a bit daft, like they've got a master plan theyre not telling you about :p

Do come over and say hello if you spot me!! Whenever I'm at a festival I always bump into people I know. Last year at The Hop Farm we managed to crash into some people we'd been to a wedding in Goa with in 2004!

    Hope you've packed a bikini!

Pop into the Outside Inn (near the Bandstand and Cider Bus) and say hello to my friend Jess - very tall, curly hair, will be wearing a National Trust name badge. Lucky duck, getting paid to work there for the week!

How exciting about California. How long will you be away? Will you be blogging whilst you're out there?

The Aussie is working for three days out there, so (even though I think I'll have more than enough to do) I am going to take the little netbook, so I can get online and look stuff up, so I will blog if I can. It's Pride weekend in San Francisco on Saturday and Sunday, I'm so excited to see the parade!

On sorry - we are going for nine days, six in San Francisco and 3 in Monterrey. Eeeeeeee! :)

    How's your dress challenge going?

The dress challenge has kind of fallen by the wayside because I haven't felt like taking any photos. Though I have been wearing dresses most days. I'm going to make a real effort with the blog when I get back, I am always starting things and never finishing them (bit like Goan says above) and I'd like to focus properly.

That said, I have just got some wonderful bargs as I have just been out on a little retail therapy thrift: A billabong denim mini for £3 and what appears from the washing instructions to be a Japanese maxi skirt also for £3 and a straw trillby for £1 from Oxfam. Perfect for my holiday. A scarf which looked kind of normal beige and floral at first glance but had weird little people incorporated in to the pattern at the ends and a basket bag from the BHF. A tweed pencil skirt, a olive green velvetette pencil skirt for work and a bedside table for 50p from the hospice shop round the corner. Plus I think I've just excused myself from the gym tonight by having to lug all that up the stairs. I'm ever so delighted, really cheered me up.

Stuff is in the wash at the moment, I'll take some photos when it is all dry.

Hope everyone who is off to Glastonbury has a brilliant time, I'm doing an anti-rain dance for you all

Sorry to hear about the loss of your pet, Rainy. SF will be wonderful - I've been 3 times now to visit friends who live there - think I could easily settle there.

Quite jealous now of everyone who's off to Glasto - weather looks great too.

Pics in usual place of Sunday night awards. Seem to have developed ridiculous crush on Paolo Nutini, never noticed how handsome he is before...

    xx
