Utterly amazing - 2 & 3/4 hrs of solid Green Day. And I had someone with me who shares my love for Billie Joe :D

    Morning all!

I was car booting at 8am this morning because we've got workmen and had to be back early, what a fabulous day!

    I'm wearing:
    Cut-down Diesel jeans (Jumble sale)
Coral satin tunic with lattice trim (Car boot)
Original 80's Pirate-style ankle boots (Car boot)
    Ted Lapidus shades (Charity shop)
    Indian rings, silver bangles

....that wouldn't be difficult, he's gorgeous!!

Pirate - I was thinking about your post last night and I recalled a single middle-aged neighbour showing an unerving amount of interest in me when I lived alone, knowing my hours of work, callers, my social habits, what parcels had been delivered. When I told my Mum she told me "never underestimate a good neighbour". It turned out be true, he was just a kindly divorcee without an ulterior motive and always helpful when it came to fixing leaks or watching the house if I went away.

Sarah - how exciting, an event! I get emails from people wanting to buy my things or to promote stuff I wouldn't dream of buying. If I lived closer I'd pretend to be your PA!

Oh that's a good point Vix. Quite a few of my new neighbours are like that, but they're retired and so it somehow seems more normal coming from them in a way that I'm not sure it would if it was the same as in Char's situation? (which is horribly worded but hopefully you know what I mean?)

Check out the place-that-must-not-be-named later on this evening for pictures of last night :D I'm too small to have any decent closeups but the zoom seemed to work quite well with taking pics of the big screen.

I do like a man in guyliner...

This guy wasn't old enough to be retired but was off work long-term with chronic depression, maybe a similar situation? Might explain his odd way of making conversation.

Yeah, could be something similar..it was a bit odd, but perhaps some people do come across a little odd..
will wait and see if i see him again at any point i guess..
he did ask a few questions, which i avoided answering in any great detail, and i'm sure he noticed i wasn't comfortable..
