    Hi
I'm just dropping in to ask what do people think of Topshop Baxter jeans?

I love Baxter skinnies, I splashed out on a pair when they came out about 4 years ago and they are still going strong, I've even been lucky enough to pick two further pairs up at boot sales for a quid apiece. Great quality, wash well and fit nicely.

Pirate - I wouldn't worry unduly. Lost and Kandi are quite right, you stand out (in a nice way) and he probably feels he knows you even though you may not have noticed him. If you do feel threatened tell a friend or neighbour or if your flat has a superintendant maybe sound them out.

Char - As a single girl living alone, I can totally understand why you feel uncomfortable with this encounter. Like Lost says, worth mentioning it to a family member. Sure all will be fine, but good to talk about it with someone anyway.

We have someone similar here but he's actually just a Neighbourhood Watch kind of guy who's aware of who's in/out of the block for security reasons.

Always good to answer questions as vaguely as possible though - like when someone asks where you work, just say 'in town' etc.

Ah glad you gave me the heads up on that dress before I took the plunge and bought it! Yes I could have taken it back but it saved £4.50 delivery! It just seems to be tht all the dresses and skirts around are so short at the min, I know it's summer but come on!
I'm trying to use this time of year when I have fewer practical classes to teach to get used to wearing skirts and things, but I can't wear leggings for work so they have to be long enough to wear tights with!

Todays outfit is a purple broderie anglais skirt from DP, black teeshirt (primark) and plain black shoes (new look). I wore tights from Primark that have been annoying me ALL DAY as they are slightly too short in the leg so spent most of the day either with the gusset at mid thigh or yanking them up. :/ Hope the rest of the pack are better or I will have to chuck them, don't know anyone they will fit.

Piratefairy, he's probably just lonely or trying to be friendly but I would let someone know he's said odd things to you just to be in the safe side.
    xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

Through the bl*gging thing (I know we're not really supposed to mention it here) I've been invited to the Scottish Fashion Awards on Sunday night as a member of the press.

Much hysterical laughter from me today when I got an email from them asking me to confirm the names of my 'crew' for the red carpet photo opp and the press room!

Feeling like a total kid/imposter even though with it being a Scottish event it will be pretty local/low key. I've asked one of the girls from work to come with cos she's a really great photographer with a proper camera. I'd feel a total numpty turning up on my own with my wee purple camera which is one step up from a disposable!

What to wear and what to expect? Yikes!

Sarah that is so exciting! Have fun & try get some freebies!

Try not to worry too much about the guy PF. He probably just remembers seeing you around before but if it happens again i'd let your landlord etc know.

About Baxter skinny jeans - make sure you try on a few pairs. Sometimes they can be the same size but differ slightly.

Had a great day at the river, got sunburn on my shoulders and blisters on my feet though. :(

tsabo -sorry about your sunburn and blisters ouch
PF - mmm bit of a strange one, I agree with what has been said already and make sure you tell someone, it might just be his friendly way and he has a bit of a boring life so watches others
Sarah - Fashion awards sound exciting - good excuse for your new jacket to get an outing perhaps!!!!

Lovely sunny day hence being woke up at silly o'clock but the sun streming through the window. Think it'll be a car booting morning - will report back with any gorgeous treasures I find- fingers crossed. Think it'll be a maxi day today.

Sarah - fab news! You should take a whole entourage though :D

Char - ooh dear that does sound a bit weird. Did you tell someone about it in the end?

Today's outfit isn't massively different from yesterday's as I crashed at a friend's house after the gig last night and didn't have room in my bag to take a whole different outfit with me:

    Blue linen skirt
    Mint green vest top
    Blue suede pumps - DP
Pale grey short cardi - New Look

Mint green dangly earrings - Accessorize
    Various rings
