I have been baking too, made a chocolate cake, white choc and milk choc cookies for my DH. It's his last day at work tomorrow, he starts a new job next week.
Are you feeling more positive about your birthday now, it is Saturday isn't it?

    I've been Money Tipped!
PF, I just heard there was a delay with something I wanted to send. It will be there next week, I hope. :)

I hope daisy bella is doing well. I want to write but I'm stll headless chickening here, and want to write when I can concentrate on what I wan to say to her, so that's next week too. I'm hoping to write weekly. I wonder how long she'll be gone. It will be quiet with out her.

Dear Goan, I have wanted to send you a message too. Know that I am thinking of you with fondness. when you Glasto you'll be very near me you know.

after a week of style by pass today I ulled myself together a little. Jeggings and a couple of long vests layered. None of my bras fit right. :( Everything is a mess at home and I can't find my epilator. We had bad news: DH's aunt has cancer, and sadly it looks very bleak for her. DH loves her very dearly, she having been a wonderful, wonderful aunt always, but especially since he lost his mother quite young.

House? Who the hell knows! We were meant to exchange a couple of days ago, I think we are tomorrow, but its been impossible to certain, to uncertain all within 24 hours, and so I am not betting either way.

When I move all my skinny clothes will be coming out of storage, some I am definitely too old for even if I lose the weight...and far to ravaged.....I know I'll never where my see through clothes again. I'd love t find a way to where some sheers I love if I ever get back in them...but not sure how? As underwear? Anyway, once I get to see them again I'm hoping I can deal with my ebay technophobe issues and maybe, maybe...sell some of them...

I've had these clothes, like fragile old photos, taunting me with memories of who I was, what my life was.....I think as life changes yet again, and they are a stage further in my past, I will be ready to part with some of them.

Hello lost! I hope all goes ok with the house, and I'm really sorry to hear about your dh's aunt!

I got a txt from db earlier to say she was there and the other girls there seemed nice. I hope she is ok!

I'm so tired recently. Just feel exhausted, haven't done anywhere nr what I'd intended this evening!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
It's quiet without Daisy isn't it? I hope she's ok and I'm hoping I wrote her address in my address book, probably should have checked yesterday.
I managed to buy some gladiatorish sandals today from Peacocks, not the ones Vicki posted (as usual they only had 5s and 6s) but some strappy, slightly studded silver ones for £12.

    My outfit today was

long black skirt with black glitter thread stripes (New Look years ago)
black crinkle lace-trim cami (Primark via Ebay)
black and grey stripe waterfall cardi (Primark)
    long silver tassel necklace (thrifted)
silver ballet pumps which I changed for my new sandals as soon as I bought them!

I was thinking today how I have lots of clothes I love and lots of shoes I love but the styles of clothes I like don't go with the shoes I like so I'm going to have to start buying shoes to match my clothes rather than because I like them. Or stick to my staples of flip flops and boots which are always pretty safe.

It's been a busy week so far - out pretty much all day every day, I've had late morning appointments in different towns every day and naturally have had to look in all the charity shops for jumpers so I feel like I've done nothing. Still, a coat, a dress, a hoody and a skirt to take to the shop tomorrow and she's got some money waiting for me yippee!

I think i agree with your comment about the shoes mariel, I Have so many lovely patterned ones etc
but most of my dresses and clothes are also patterned, so nothing reeeaally goes
    together.

Mariel, I am so thrilled for you with how well your amazing clothing is selling. I noticed in one of your blog photos that there was a tag in the neck, is that something you are adding? If so what does it say??

Lost, I'm so sorry to hear about your DH's Aunt, it seems that there is a lot of sadness at the moment. I do hope that everything goes well with the house too.

I'm feeling a bit down too, a dear friend from school lost his young brother last year in a terrible way, the inquest was this week and yesterday's papers have dragged it all up in a very insensitive way.

On a lighter note I have been instructed to make a giant bra that we can use for the picnic which we are hoping we can ask the major or MP to cut open instead of the usual ribbon, the picnic is also being used to launch the new strategy from the PCT and the calendar so we are hoping for loads of media interest and thought it might make a good photo!

ETA - PF, thanks for letting us know how DB is getting on, I'm glad she seems OK. I thought about her a lot yesterday.
