I recently decided i needed a new phone (currently with o2 simplicity). o2 were unable to offer me anything like what i wanted. T-Mobile seem to have some good deals. I dont need much mins or texts but my data usage has increased. I went for the 18 mnth £20 plan which includes the flexbile booster for internet broswing.

However, i have just recieved the phone and I can't get anything like a reliable signal in my house, i checked the coverage on the T-Mobile site before applying and it said 2G was good, but 3g poor (i dont need it at home so its not an issue). I can't make calls/send texts at all downstairs, and only upstairs if im lucky. Can i cancel my contract still as ive literally only just taken it out with them? This will clearly not do for 18 months!!!

T-Mobileoffer a 7 day streecheck guarantee where by if you have no coverage you can return the phone within 7 calender days.
this applies to purchases in-store, online and over the phone

Many thanks. I contacted T-Mobile and they were happy to accept the return and cancel the contract. Might just hold back on full praise of T-Mobile until its all sorted, but the lady i spoke to was very helpful. Shame really, the contract is much better than anything o2 can offer (reception aside!)
