  • Go on Fay - tell us how it was!

Very late today - am shattered after a hard day in school followed by an hour's dog walk, general household faffing, more school work.....

    Today's teeny list..
    • Took lunch to work - tupperware split (very old) and spilt chilli everywhere - no lunch, boo!!
    • Checked banks
    • Done tons of work
    • Had a mini house tidy
    • Walked dog for free exercise
    • Tried to drive carefully to conserve petrol
That's it for today - off to bed - night night!
  • Hi everyone

Quite happy with my February progress but I think I've slipped into overdraftdom with one day to go until payday! :o

    Anyway, my list for today:
    - put some coins in the jar 9p in the pot
    - charge phone at work and left charger there...
    - washing on airer. Next load can be another quick wash at 30 and MIL2B has offered to wash sheets/towels for us at the weekend, which will help us out mucho :DNooooo, can't face another wash tonight...
    - sort big shop when it arrives later/decide what to cook and what to freeze. OH beat me to it, and even put a meal plan on the fridge door with the days we're cooking what and the days we can have leftovers. :D
    - omelettes for tea to use up lots of bits and bobs Didn't have enough eggs...ended up with cereal! Will eat better the rest of the week, honest!
    - LSD - bought some fruit
    - drinking work's free tea - not been to the can machine in 2010, although I did find myself eyeing up a bottle of coke today. I will resist and keep my 80p! Well resisted!

    xx

PS - I had a dream last night that I did something (can't remember what) and then I thought 'Oh, I'll need to add that to my small DFW list.' :rotfl:

    - did my first survey!
    - doing my own nails
    - heating is down low and I'm wearing a jumper.

    Night all :)

Thank you everyone for such a lovely welcome..what a friendly thread....

After full on day at work and a sneaky watch of an hour of The Wire Series 3...am ready to get my MSE fix. So the small DFW things I have done today are:

    - OH booked a 3 year Family Railcard saving money but also getting YHA membership which we would have got anyway
    - 4 watchers on one of my ebay listings so thats not bad
    - lunch paid for by a colleague and scrummmy dinner from freezer
    - more eggs (lovely scrambled eggs for breakfast) from our chooks who are laying again..yippee:j
    - all washing done at 30 and on wooden driers - in fact the tumble dryer we got for helping with the reusable nappies when DDs were small is so infrequently used we might just freecycle it:rotfl:

-and maybe the best of all..haggled (nicely) on a central heating quote (using some advice from a MSE forum as well) and with using OH as cheap labour ;)and just asking will be saving over £150...

See you tomorrow..will try and log on in late eve..
