When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important! :D

Gooood morning!! Big waves to everyone - welcome to the new posters, lovely to see more faces:T
Off to Uni for me today....dragging my weary body along anyway:o Looks like it might be a short afternoon though - I hope so;)

NOthing much else going on....there's a surprise! Right, on with my list:
  • check banking
  • daily scratchcard
  • packed lunch for girls
  • take little twix for morning coffee at Uni - and I've filled up my loyalty card for the coffee shop so today is my free coffee!!!
  • nip to Tesco at lunchtime for cakes for tomorrow at work (tis my birthday in the morn...shhhh:o)....and need milk
  • heating off all day and low tonight
  • use Uni library to print out some info I want...save my ink;)
  • meal from plan tonight - jacket potatoes and chicken
  • stick to my new weightwatchers plan:p
Right that's all for me - have a great day all of you!:A
I really need to sort out a new signature!

    Morning all!

    Busy-ish day again today.

Babysitting this morning but only for an hour or so
was going to have a nsd but think I'll take DS2 to a toddler group (only £1.50 but I'm annoyed at myself I've got nowhere near my NSD target in Feb! Perhaps I will be more realistic in March!)

    Will also

    - check banking
    - scratchie
    - surveys
    - check for mystery shops

    See you later x

Got the day off. Got two things on ebay which are finishing tonight.
Money from them should pay my car service bill.

Gonna try and get out to the garage to find more stuff to sell, I want to try and get a few hundred quid into my main bank account to act as a buffer to make sure I stay on top of all standing orders.

    Enjoy your coffee Millyscarlett!

    My list for today:
-write to boss formally accepting one job and resigning from others so pay gets sorted out
-nagged DH (nicely!) to apply for childcare vouchers at his work
