No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

    Hi everyone

Quite happy with my February progress but I think I've slipped into overdraftdom with one day to go until payday! :o

    Anyway, my list for today:
    - put some coins in the jar
    - charge phone at work
    - washing on airer. Next load can be another quick wash at 30 and MIL2B has offered to wash sheets/towels for us at the weekend, which will help us out mucho :D
    - sort big shop when it arrives later/decide what to cook and what to freeze.
    - omelettes for tea to use up lots of bits and bobs
    - LSD - bought some fruit
    - drinking work's free tea - not been to the can machine in 2010, although I did find myself eyeing up a bottle of coke today. I will resist and keep my 80p!

    xx

PS - I had a dream last night that I did something (can't remember what) and then I thought 'Oh, I'll need to add that to my small DFW list.' :rotfl:

Hi this is my first post on this board, so be gentle with me!!

    So far today I will:
    Check my bank accounts
NSD, as having a "storecupboard special" for dinner
Hang washing out when I get home
Make cakes as a birthday present for a friend (cant afford a shop bought present)
Go through all the books at home and decide which will stay and which will be EBayed
  • Tia 24 welcome :)

(I hope that was gentle enough!)

I'm sure your friend will much appreciate the cake for their birthday - so thoughtful!

I've made chicken & potato curry for lunch - used up a fair bit of freezer surprise which turned out to be 3 portions curried parsnip soup :)
Emailed the lease for my downstairs bedsit for June/July :)
    HUng up MORE hokeycokey
Washed out chicken water thingmy - one egg today
Out in field this afternoon for free freezing um I mean exercise!
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
    :money:Sleeves up folks.:money:
  • Not happy with February progress.. I've already gone over budget by wasting money so today I'm looking for some motivation to get it sorted...

Got up late this morning, flustered on the way to work and not quite awake
Forgot to make my lunch at home so had to buy it (£2.00!!!)
Gave in and bought sweets & juice at work for a £1.00!!!
Checked my budget spreadsheet and online banking and realised I have spent £40.00 on NOTHING/JUNK so far since payday - 15th Feb!
Looked for a second job in evenings/weekends - nothing!!
Worked out a budget for next month which will have to be even tighter than this month!

Really not a good day :(. Will kick myself into gear and tomorrow will be a better one.

So my plans for tomorrow are

Contact Specsavers to reduce contact lens package
Look online for a cheap christening present for friend's daughter
Look online for birthday present for the OH - (20th march)
Contact scrappage companies to see if I can get any money for my car which will certainly fail it's MOT and no-one wants to buy!!
    Write a dooyoo review
    Look for paid surveys
Find out more about blogging for money (thinking of a blog about debt management etc. - I work in Debt Recovery (recently transferrred to this department against my will, good job they don't know about my own debt!!!!!) so know a lot about debts etc.
Look again for a second job!

    Feeling very negative right noow!!
