I currently am on a PAYG tariff but want to change to a contract but am not sure what is the best to go for.
This is a rough outline of what i would like:
- £15-18 per month
- anytime any network mins (the more the better, but no specific amount needed)
- some txt messages altho mins would be prefered
- Nokia 6230i or similar
- not really interested in cashback options
All responses greatly recieved and alto this contract is for my brother, if a student discount could be gained without causing to many problems then please included them.
Thanks in advance

You could try going for the 20 pound flext tariff from t-mo. It's 18 months though. For 15-18 per month you won't find many non-cashback discount options except perhaps from the operator's own promotions (which credit you directly and automatically; Orange used to do that with 6mo 1/2 price)0

Vodafone online do Anytime 75 (75 x-net minutes and 100 txtx included) for £16 per month with half price promo for 3 months. This is a pretty good deal for low usage punters - with a fair choice of free handsets - Nokia 6234, Samsung E900... Click here for more details.
And don't forget to go via Quidco when you place your order for £40 cashback.
Do it this way and your total cost over the 18 month contract would be £224 which averages £12.44 per month0
