  • I got some applaws once and was told that it wasn't that great. I can't remember what was said but I was advised that JWB was better than applaws? Thanks for the info, I will def getting orijen as it seems to be the number one for cats right now!

Applaws has much better ingrediants to JWB. No cereal and 80% meat 20% veg and that's all.

Tried to get on the food 4 cats site but it's down for maintenance right now!
I got an email today, saying that they're closing the business and the last (outstanding) orders should be sent out by Monday :(

i give mine Applaws dry - it is 80% meat, no additives etc. they get treats too, such as chicken and fish.
  • I have just switched to Orijen after advice on here, my 2 love it and I notice that they eat alot less of it to feel full up, also tried applaws but Orijen was their preference.

I bought a bag of JW but wasn't sure if the meat concentrate was as high as Orijen? I also like the fact that its all free range etc in Orijen.

Worth a try but fairly expensive, I think I paid about £23 for 2.5kg bag.
  • Orijen is best, you can get Applaws too (The wet adult is complementary though) which is fantastic
