I pay nothing. I get my broadband free. As an out of work scrounger it is very important I have access to the internet, so I can download !!!!!! and stuff.
No point working though as i get it all free now. why work and then have to pay for it????
It is a plot by The LEFTIE. They will all download Marx and set up Facebook profiles for Stalin.0 -
£6 a lot of money when you are on a low wage not all of us are on higher rate tax - maybe they should make the only the higher rate tax payers pay maybe £10 pm... now that would be fair wouldn't it?Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Agree with the sentiments that better networks across the UK can only be a good thing. It's only 50p per month for crying out loud!
Oh another a*se who thinks they fund the unemployed
Actually none of the tax you pay goes towards people on benefits.
The taxes you pay, no matter how much don't even cover the cost of the services you and your family use.
Seemings your a higher rate tax payer I will assume your fairly intelligent (or just a blagger that got lucky) so i'm amazed by your comments, even dense minimum wage little old me understands none of the tax I pay funds the unemployed.0 -

However it's not so much an O2 problem, it's the same with BT Broadband here. It's basically simply HAVING to use BT's hardware that's causing the issues.
I thought the point of llu was that the other operators used their own equipment after the leased landline0 -
You forget one other benefit.The_White_Horse wrote: »I pay nothing. I get my broadband free. As an out of work scrounger it is very important I have access to the internet, so I can download !!!!!! and stuff.
In a 'fair for all' utopian society, Bully Brown can use tinterweb to reach out and bully everyone with this internet extension dream.
The man is a visionary (well, half a visionary at least).0 -
It's yet another not very stealthy er stealth tax. Why not 50p a month for anyone who gets a newspaper to pay for footpaths? Or 50p a month to cover the cost of counting our votes?
I'm sick and tired of Brown's tax after tax after tax. He hasn't got the bottle to admit what the real income tax rate would be, so it's all hidden - on fuel, NI, rates, etc.
And while I'm ranting - this excessive tax has gone to fund managers in charge of places like the Stafford hospital and fund the people who gave it top marks.0 -

What a silly little person you are.
And on what basis do you say that income tax doesn't go towards unemployment benefit?
I don't think you are the brightest are you? However, try and stay polite, eh?0 -

History shows that 50p will soon become much more, will you still say"for crying out loud"then?Equaliser123 wrote: »I have never been on benefits nor do I claim anything now. I am a higher rate tax payer - much of my tax goes to people on benefits. Why is that any different?
