I was pretty sure but wasn't sure where to go for confirmation. I will let the people who sent the hoax to me know.

Every single ATM that I used. I always forcebly try and move the card reader. Never had it come off on me.Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"0 -
Interesting debate. Something everyone is missing. One way or another a crook will just abouty always get the cash. If it won't be by a non-violent method then it'll be by a violent method.
Ok, so the advise is to use a machine in a public area with loads of people about, but if the person takes out a large knife I don't think Joe Public will come running to my assistance any time soon and I'm still deprived of whatever cash Iv'e took out of the machine, hopefully not ended up in an Accident and Emergency department (or coffin) for my trouble of using a cash machine.
But then.... Getting mugged at at a cash machine or after I leave a cash machine is not really the bank's problem.0
