Nervous of cycle commute

I have done it, but now I would be terrified to cycle on the road. It may be quiet at 06.30, but some of the car drivers could be half asleep."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Excellent news, well done to the original poster- keep it up! On my 10-mile round trip commute, my suzuki jeep does 30mpg. A gallon of petrol costs approximately £5.27- every time i commute by bike I save £1.75!
As for those people who claim its too dangerous to cycle to work and so commute by car- as you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem."In times of universal deceit, telling the truth will be a revolutionary act. "
