Best SIM card only deal?

Options
Afternoon!

I am just coming to the end of my O2 contract package and want to go over to PAYG. I have no preference to who I go with and don't mind changing my phone number. The thing I was wondering was what is the best SIM card to get? I remember years ago I had a Genie card (from O2 as well I think) where you top up £10 a month and you get 300 free texts.

Does this sort of thing still exist?

Thanks for any help in this and I apologise if this may have already been covered before.

Still exists as O2 online tariff with free 300 texts or 50 mins x network for £10 top up monthly.

Not sure if it still is availiable, but CPW used to do a virgin, pay monthly sim card.

Virgin 200 @.......£1.99 a month :D (Sim only obviously, and I believe it was directly off the bill, rather than a chequeback)

I did leave 3 months ago though, so give em a call.
