What a terrible day. Someone stole my phone from a cafe in Slough. I am locked on into an 18 month contract with T-mobile and have let them know so sim will be stopped and phoned barred,.
Only problem is I had no insurance so will need to get another T-mobile phone. I have the Sony Erricson K750i but can't afford another . Can anyone suggest a half decent phone I can buy for around the £50 mark that will accept T-mobile sim.
Thanks x

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.
The SE 750i is a good phone, why don't you pay £10 to get it unlocked so you can use your new sim in it.0 -

Thanks for that. I am so gutted there are irraplaceable pictures on it that I hadn't yet downloaded.
With regards to the SE 750i where would I get one of those, I have done a search on the internet but can't find it anywhere0 -
i think you meant that you had the k750i, i think james's dad got confused as you put you have it. If you have a look on ebay some were going for about £65. Other than that have a look at virgins refurbished phones, as i think a t-mobile sim will go into a virgin phone.Trophies are like Buses, you wait 26 years.
Then 3 come along at once!!!!0 -

Could'nt you contact T-Mobile and explain the situation to them and see if they will give a discount on a new/refurbished phone?
Btw thegoon, as you stated I did get confused I thought trinny had a really expensive phone stolen and didn't want to use her SE K750i.
(Why don't the smileys work for me?)0 -

Sorry but that information is incorrect. A Fresh SIM or a Virgin SIM will work in a T-Mobile phone, though not the other way around without unlocking the handset.
Be very careful if buying a mobile from ebay if you don't want to get scammed!

There are some real D**k Heads around these days, cant keep there hands off other peoples property or have the decency(sp) to hand it in!
If I were you just try getting a phone you already have unlocked and use that, Save some money then get a new one when you can afford it. But DO NOT get another contract out like i did, when I had my phone stolen. I have 2 18 month contracts now.. Hope things work out for you0 -

Is it covered on your household policy, i know mine is because my father told me i could just claim off that while i was deciding if i should get orange care.
Depending on the value of the phone it might be worth it0 -
Hello yes I had a D750i and now nothing
I don't think my home insurance covers mobiles but can have a look at . Just called T-mobile and they said they can do another one for £149.99 !!!
Toooo much for me at the mo.
Thanks for all your kind words0
