    I don't know for sure it will work, but can say for sure there is a lot of misinformation on the netgear forums, and some on the website about vpn issues, some of the fixes suggested make things worse, get it to work without the router first, then work through the firmware versions without messing about with any port forwarding, disabling spi which is commonly suggested to troubleshoot the issue.

    which client is it, and what's on the other end of the tunnel?
