Just wanted to say good luck to everyone for this month. We are not participating this time as we are doing a family storecupboard challenge for the whole of Lent, with £100 in the kitty for anything we run out of and fresh fruit/veg. Whatever is left is going into the church collection on Easter Sunday, so I want there to be some left!! We'll be back in April.
That is so brilliant! Well done you! :T0 -

Just curious.
We all include different things but try not to stray too far from the grocery/supermarket shop. I do try to actually have days where I do spend nothing though-in any category-but paying off an old debt(or part of)I wouldn't think counted-especially if you won't be adding any more to that debt in future.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0 -

My first time on the GC, but am using it more as a Grocery Store Challenge. I buy more than just food/groceries at the store so my NSD's (for now) are when I buy nothing that would have been bought or is available at most supermarkets.
That said, today was my first spend day for March.Asda order arrived with a total of £56.09 Some things will run over and into next week, or longer, but will have to get milk later in the week - bread/rolls if I don't bake as planned. Hopefully not much else.
Have even thought about getting the milkman around . . . most things are a bit dearer, but would stop me having to go into the shops for one thing and coming out with 10 on weak willpower days. Still mulling it over......:D0 -
Haven't spent anything today as the groceries were delivered yesterday.
Haven't even eaten today as, unusually for me, feeling a bit off colour and a bit nauseous! So a good day...financially!:)Less is more0 -
