coloured chocolate is easy to make, however as you have to use white chocolate it can be sickly (but only if you eat lots of it lol)

if colouring white chocolate, then i would recommend using icing colour paste, rather than food colouring, as adding water to chocolate causes it to split and go grainy

sainsburys do a basics white chocolate for 27p for 100g, which works out alot cheaper than candy melts

Thanks for that flea hadn't thought of colouring white choc. Is the paste the same as the gel as I'm not amazing with cake decorating terms etc?
