Kefte, I have had a go at ordering those envelopes to see what happens, using that link to the recycling factory website.
Ignore the drop down menu which shows a long list of charities. Instead, click on the Tesco Clubcard link - the green one five places down on the left. You will get this:
http://www.therecyclingfactory.com/Tesco
You will find a link on there to the list of eligible cartridges, which they accept, of course. Also donation details which you can ignore and ask for 100 points per cartridge to come to you. This will probably be explained on the envelopes.
Enter your details, choose the number of envelopes you want, then click Request. You will automatically return to the previous page and it will have a message in red thanking you for your request and saying it will take 3-4 weeks delivery.
Hope this helps.
Oops! That link does not work! So then, just use the link in the post above given by BLUEWKD. Then just click on the green tag "Tesco Clubcard" That should take you to the page with the form to fill in.0 -
Update: I received those envelopes today.
They are post-paid and addressed to The Recycling Factory, Tesco Diabetes UK, Boston, PE21 7TX. They really do appear to be addressed to the charity, though.
The tear-off slip shows three options about what you would like to have done with the awarded points and you have to choose the tick-box you want. They are: 50/100 green Clubcard points added to your account for each cartridge - OR - donate 50p/£1 to diabetes UK for each cartridge - OR 50% of the points to diabetes UK and 50% credited to your account. To get all of the points it is the first option, of course.
However, I found out from my niece that she did this with her three cartridges and the points were not entered onto her account. She did not follow it up with Tesco or The Recycling Factory. Her envelope was addressed to Tesco Cancer Research UK. She remembers that.
So then, as the envelopes are automatically addressed to a charity then it follows that the rewards will be going only to them. It's like a confidence trick to get points for the charities that Tesco are promoting. It makes them look good! You know what they say - "every little helps". Yeah, right! I will not be bothering.0 -

Could you let me know how many cartridges you can get in an envelope so I know how many to order please? (We have diabetes in the family so are happy to donate)0 -
Usually 2 maxPrivate Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA0

When I ordered 3 envelopes they sent 5, so it looks as though 5 is the minimum they send. Some cartridges are larger than others so it all depends on size as to how many you can get into an envelope.
All the best with your donation. A good cause. As for us, we donate something every week to the collectors in the shopping centre here, and so we prefer to collect points for our ink cartridges.0 -

Oh, OK. Then good luck with that. I just had an inkling (no pun intended!) that they would not be suitable but I could not say for definite.0
