Hiring Tables and Chairs for a Wedding

I'm getting married next June, and have hired a great room for the reception, but they don't have much in the way of tables and chairs.
I expect that marquee companies will hire them out, but I doubt that they will be willing to commit them now, when they don't know exactly what events their marquees are booked for.
Does anyone have any ideas on this, or has anyone hired tables and chairs like this?
If you know of anyone who hires let me know, I'm in Hampshire.

Why don't you have a word with a local school, or a local church - they will have things like this, and would be willing to loan you tyhen for a reasonable donation - the only thing you will have to do then ic call in a favour from a man with a van and job sorted!0

Have you actually tried speaking to any marquee companies yet? We hired tables and chairs from a marquee company several months in advance of our wedding. You might find it easier than you think, just by asking some companies!Make £2025 in 2025

To echo what inkie has said, our local village hall hires out tables and chairs to all sorts of individuals and organisations... maybe try yours if you have a local one.....0

I have got some pricelists through from marquee companies now, and they do seem to be OK about booking that far in advance. The £2.70 (excl VAT) per chair doesn't seem that bad, until you multiply by 80 and then add delivery and tables! I might try to contacting some village halls or schools, to see what they can do.
Thanks for your help,

Hampshire if full of Army camps - they have oodles of chairs polyprop assorted colours and tables six foot folding, metal leg for the use of. Do you know anyone working in a camp or perhaps a member of the TA? Used to cost a couple of crates of beer (and that included delivery).0
