    Really? How?

The iPod Touch doesnt have bluetooth or any USB ports, I really don't see how you can connect in these ways, even the iPhone which does have bluetooth has a restriction on using the bluetooth for data use.

Pretty sure the only way to connect the Touch is via wifi.

I'm looking at my iTouch now and I assure you it has Bluetooth. Some of the earlier models did not, all the UK current models do.
They all have a dock connector which connects to any USB port.
I wasn't suggesting that you would want to use Bluetooth for heavy-duty data transfer, but nevertheless it does have Bluetooth as a means of connection, which is what the OP's original question was.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

the newer generation iPod Touch does have bluetooth, yes, but it is not data enabled and cannot do any data transfer, light or heavy duty, try it yourself, the bluetooth is for headset profiles only, ie. to connect BT headphones. It will not allow a DUN connection via BT.

  • No, there's no password request.

I think the problem maybe my router as my ISP wouldn't help with the installation of it for the pc or itouch only when I have a laptop to go wireless with, they said to call back.

This is so confusing, I just want to use my ipod touch!!
