T-Mobile update required

Is there anymore news on the t-mobile fiasco and employees selling on customers infromation? Does anyone know if customers bank details (sort codes & account numbers) were included in the information that was stolen and passed on?

Thanks for the info, don't know whether I believe their offical statement or not.

I have been a T-Mobile customer for a few years now, and I have had many cold calls from other networks (especially 3) in the last year or more (since the personnel info was sold on). My main concern is in the last 6-8 months my bank account has been targetted. I don't use debit cards so the account hasn't been accessed in this way. But some scroat has been setting up direct debits from my account, and this has been done a few times now. The money is always refunded under the direct debit guarranty, but to stop it happening again I have been forced to change my account after 25 odd years without any problems.

I am very careful with my details so this information has to have been passed on by someone who has the information legitimately. Out of the few companies that have my details only T-Mobile is the only one that has been found to have had employees who have sold on customers information. So I am a little sceptical that the offical releases are the whole truth!!

I was wondering has anyone else who is a T-Mobile customer had the same problems?
