Free International Texts
I recently halved my mobile phone contract with CPW 02, from £30 to £15 pm ( good saving eh )
Up until then I havent paid for text messages to my old dad in spain , on his foreign mobile number.
However I am now being charged 13.6 pence each
O2 said I've been amazingly lucky, to get away with it for so long ...I didnt realise I was supposed to pay !
Are they telling the truth when they say my texts are unlimited on any tariff / network but that doesnt include international,
or is this a way of getting more money from me ?
any thoughts gratefully received

International texts are generally not free. I think (not sure) some of T-mobile's flexT tariffs had some inclusive international texts or minutes.
So o2 are correct, you have gotten away with it - sounds like they messed up your account and now have corrected it when you dropped tariff. :eek:0 -
It used to be the case if you had unlimited texts you got 250 per month free of charge, not sure if that has changed though;).0

Try fishtext if you have data package. It's not free but it's very cheap compared to what operators charge you.0
