I'm thinking of going for a Canary 40 deal with a K610i and a free xbox 360 core system, but having never shopped online for a contract before I was hoping to see if anyone has ever bought off them and had any good/bad experiences - thanks.

  • Do you mean buymobilephones.net? - If not, ignore the rest of this post...

If so I have taken a contract with them and had a very lengthy delay receiving my 1st cashback redemption. Their T&C's state thet if you haven't heard within 56 days of sending your claim to call them - when I did i kept getting fobbed off. The cheque finally arrived 3 months after sending in my claim.

I'll obviously be making my second 2 claims, but won't be using them again - have had 7 contracts with E2Save (all with absolutely no problems), 1 with Mobileshop.com (no problems either) and have 1 now with CPW via their pricematch (not expecting any problems)

Just my feelings but there are more reliable companies out there to use

My dad had a contract with them last year and all cheques were recieved within the stated time period without any problems. I obtained a contract with them a few weeks ago. However Orange wanted more ID from me for their credit check. I emailed BMP and they kept me updated every step of the way via email, my phone was despatched a few days later. So far so good!

Just finished a 12 month contract on Orange with butmobilephones.net and everything went ok.
They payed back the £35 / month cashback direct into my account just as stated, they even send you an email to confirm receipt and tell you that your claim has been accepted and when to expect payment.
Would have used them again for my new contract with Orange but got a better deal with e2save.com (part of Carphone Warehouse) £20 / month for 600 mins + unlimited text plus 12 months cashback plus another £40 from Quidco so if all goes well it should work out at £8.33 / month.
Hopefully I won't get any problems with getting the cash back from e2save
One thing, always send your claim recorded delivery as my daughter didn't once and the firm refused to pay that cashback or any other remaining ones.

If I were you I'd do a bit of research on e2Save rather than assuming you'll have no problems!

i have my contract through them.. the deal was a free ipod touch, i got the claim form and it said to send 2 forms of identiy, i only had 1 form of identity which was a bank statement, i had just passed my test so my provisonal license was taken away and a new full uk issued and they wouldnt accept it as it was dated after i got the contract. so i ended up with a 18month contract and no ipod touch, gutted!! wont be using them again!

Just received my last cheque for £48 cashback.
No problems at all with e2save and what I thought was a great deal, £20 / month for 24 month contract with 600mins, unlimited text, 500mb download which will cost £480 by the end of the contract less the £240 cashback which equals a rental of £10 / month but I'm saving £10 a month off my Orange home broadband and phone package which is now £15 intead of the £25 which in effect means the mobile phone is free..... bargain!!!
    :T
  • Well, my latest deal gives me only 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500mb per month - but I made a handsome profit so my cost was zilch. However, you have to do everything right and know what to do if it goes wrong. Maybe you should check out the correct threads - E2Save has nothing to do with this dealer (and the thread title is incorrect). Yours sounds terribly expensive to me!
