I bought a Samsung phone on 02 in May PAYG. The phone got moisture in it so I need to buy a new one. I want to keep my old number and I have some credit on my old phone.

What is the simplest way to do this. Can I buy any phone on 02 and just swap the Sim Cards to keep my number and credit

Yes, that's right . Your numbers tied to the sim, not the handset. As long as the sims working fine just get another O2 or sim free phone and stick it in, it'll work fine.

There are local phone shops who will repair moisture ridden phones for you...
