Declaring another one today bringing the target a bit closer.

I do love your posts solvent - it's very kind of you to take the trouble to recognise everyones efforts and well done on your own mega thrifty present buying extravaganza x

    Hi Guys n' Gals

Another couple of NSD's for me this week bringing me upto 11 out of a target of 17. Dunno if I will make target this month - looking a bit iffy.

Today will not be an NSD as I have another voucher to use at Sainsburys :D 'Spend £20 and get £4 back'.......just too tempting. Don't have much food to buy - just a couple of small bits. Don't need any cleaning stuff. Need shaving gel and am dangerously low on loo roll. May just buy loadsa loo roll.

Am also going to opticians tonight. Okay it's not as bad or as intrusive or painful as say the Nurse or the Dentist. But am really not in the mood for farting around tonight. I find I need to be in the mood to have someone get so close you can feel their breath on your face and their hair tickles your cheek, whilst they shine bright lights in your eyes for what feels like 20 mins but is only about 5. I need to discuss a couple of minor things with the optician but you know what? I can't be **sed (said teenage attitude stylie). I just want to go home and put my PJ's on and close the curtains and ignore the world and watch 'Lord of the Rings, 1, 2 & 3'.

So, it's going to be a lazy visit. I'll slouch into the room, throw my bag on the floor, slump on the chair.

'How are things with you Ms Curly, any problems?'
    'No, fine thanks'
    The End

The bit where they go 'Is it clearer with number 1.........or number 2..........number 1.........or number 2' drives me insane. And tonight I'm in danger of being a complete child about it. And that bit where they ask you if the black is darker on the 'red or the green...........the red of the green?' Well they both look the freaking same to me but they're never happy with that. And when you read off the Letters Chart and you say you can't see the bottom 2 lines so then they say 'Are you sure? Just try?' So I just come out with some random bunch of characters to serve them right.

Oh dear.......better have a good talk to myself on the way over, and fingers crossed the visit doesn't end up costing too much!

    Enjoy your evening

Tomorrow will prob be an NSD :)

Absolutely. Perhaps Solvent would consider being our temporary motivator whilst BigMummaF's pooter is poorly? It's a big job though, keeping us all in check.......

Well done to all that have reached target. Agree that SOLVENT would be a great motivator. CURLYGIRL know what you mean about opticians.

  • my aliens have been disabled, just haven't been able to do it this week so far. Will go and be fiddled with and will definitely have a NSD tomorrow as am away travelling on the company credit card. Big Mumma, maybe you need a wee fiddle to get you back on track. Thanks Solvent for doing a sterling job, and I can totally sympathise, I hate being fiddled with by medical personnel of any description, I just don't like anyone else in my personal space, except my aliens of course.

last time I was at the hairdressers, (many moons ago), they looked at me as if I was a madwoman cos I didn't want a head massage arrrgh, just cut my hair!!
