Hi guys n' gals
I've missed you! (I've been away for a whole 72 hours). How you all doing. Okay will vent and then go and check your progress
No NSD's for me since errrrr since Thursday I think? Friday went down to BF's and his mum is in hosp so paid for hosp parking and a couple of bits from his corner shop to make his life easier (ie ensure he was going to eat).
Saturday / Sunday was meant to be enjoying a lovely little girlie theatre break in London with my sister. We've been looking forward to it for aaaaages - Dame Judi (that's how we refer to her) in A Midsummer's Night Eve. We'd got cheap rail tickets (stupid timings and connections) and £19 room - we were dead chuffed. We got there about 3pm yesterday, had a nice wander round for a couple of hours and lovely meal and then 10 mins into the play my sister whispers that she's feeling VERY ill. She didn't want me with her but she had to disturb about 10 people in our row to get out quickly to the loo, just 2mins into Judi Dench's opening speech.
In the end she got to see about 40% of the play and virtually nothing of her heroine. And I couldn't concentrate on the play 'cause I was just worrying about her so much. Anyway this morning she thought she felt better and we set off on the return journey which was expected to take 4 hours and involve a train, a tube, a train and another train. Didn't quite go like that.......... You know what travelling through London can be like - when it's busy it can be unpleasant, cramped and airless but when you think you are going to loose your insides in either direction  and faint it's a nightmare. We had to keep stopping and she looked awful. Anyway.....we missed one of our trains and had to buy new tickets. Am just so mad at Virgin trains customer service at Euston as I tried to explain about my sister but he just kept saying 'New Ticket, New Ticket'. I'm annoyed about being out of pocket myself but am gutted for my sister who's had a dreadful, ruined weekend and she really needed a nice treat. I know there are worse things but GRRRRRRRR
Anyway..............thanks for listening. Just got home and had to blurt out our awful day to someone!!
Right going to look at what you've all been upto0 -
Well this month has been a spending disaster so far! Takeaways, unplanned social stuff, getting up late and avoiding making lunch mean today is only my 4th nsd of the month (tues was my 3rd which was more of a fluke than anything!). Technically there's just enough days left for me to make my target but it's not looking likely. Hopefully I can at least get a slightly respectable total if I try extra hard this week. Wish me luck!0

Hello everyone!
I've not managed to post for a few days, but I hope everyone is doing fine. Nothing much to report since last time I posted - a fab NSD on Friday proper cheered me up! :j Saturday was a SD unfortunately! Boo! But today I'm back on track! That's 7/10 but it's going to be a bit of a struggle to make the target...
Best wishes, all!:A0 -

Hope you find some lovely (and not too expensive) pressies Solvent.. I used to put everything on my credit card... and look where that got me
. This year everyone is getting small gifts, it's the thought that counts
.
Had a bad MS today, went to the wrong location. My own fault for not planning ahead properly. Lesson learned. Hopefully, the MS co will allow me to re-shop.....grrrrrr! Hope you have a great week ahead
Thanks Jintyb, feeling much better. It's just gone 11.00pm and i'm about to tuck into a steak & kidney pie and chips :rotfl:. I've not eaten all day and just got in from work. Hope i don't regret it in the morning. Well done on giving up the ciggies btw . You should feel proud of yourself :T.
Sorry you're London break didn't workout Curlygirl. Hope your sister is recovering well. With any luck it won't be too long before you make it to the Capital again.
