I would recommend the Riu hotels. We have stayed at the Tequila twice now and are hoping to go back again this year. The advantage of the Riu's is that you can use the facilities at all four of them in Playacar should you fancy a change of scenery.
Both times I have managed to find a £100 off code which has helped.
Or all six Riu if you book a palace. You can also use the facilities of the ones in Cancun0 -
Depending on when your going have a look at thomas cook and portland direct they often do some good deals as well
wherever you go im sure you will have a great time the weather is bound to be better than the ukWe are looking at Riu hotels now...thanks for the advice..Thomson are doing pretty good deals, not going to book just yet though, hoping we can get a better deal. Leaving it quite late, we want to fly out at the end of April for around 2 weeks, possibly 12 nights...0 -

My sister spent her honeymoon in Holbox island off the mainland in Cancun and absolutely loved it! No "Spring breakers" there!

Hi All I have just returned last Monday from Mexico and we stayed at the Iberostar Grand Paraiso, the complex shares a large area with 5 other iberostar hotels and is located approx 5 miles from Playa Del Carman. The hotel was just amazing and i have to say i never thought i would find paradise but for the last two weeks i have been very close, the only uk operator for the Grand is First Choice it seems some what pricey at first but we had any drink we wanted from the top brand cognacs to Lobster and Fillet steak offered every day.0

Doe's anybody have any experience of late bookings. Im hoping to go Jan/Feb next year and don't know whether it's worth waiting to try and get a bargain. Was looking at the El Dorado earlier and was coming up about 3300 for two adults for 2 weeks?0
