  • Hi all, off work today so staying in wrapped in woolies with heating off until is has to go on.

    my list for today :
    • check online banking - a bit tight but payday friday :)
    • do any surveys that come up , so close to limits on a few now
    • competitions
    • weekly shop, got £2 chicken at asda , in freezer for weekend when i normally pay £6.50 from butcher.
    • chicken chow mein from last nights leftover chicken for tea today, see if i can stretch it to chicken and rice for tuesday.
    • make banana bread , had to throw yesterdays bananas as too far gone.
    • rang garage re service for car , has to be done at end of march and i only have half the money saved so march will be tight. However it is half the cost of my last car.:o
    • will ring beauty college and book in for a £7 facial , my february treat to myself.
    • more hokey cokey dry on airers - where does it all come from ?
    • more cleaning and ironing
    • Look for something to list on ebay / ebid
    • No wine for me tonight as I ran out last night and forgot to buy at supermarket - local shop is cheapest but im not risking a fall on the slippy pavements.
Gosh looks ike I have a lot to do , glad I got up early !

see you tommorow folks, stay safe xxx

Cleosmum - lovely to see you - SM is about but not much on here - but she's always updating her blog and she's enjoying her rural life/work life - she sounds really happy but sooooooooooooo busy!! Andan is not about on here v much - but she's reg on FB and seems really well..........

Milly and alot of other early birds regularily champion the cause here!! (I'm usually asleep that early:o)

Thanks Fay, can you say hello to them both, I often wonder how they are doing. Will have to hunt out SM blog, I did have the link ages ago but not sure where it is now! Did Andan ever tame that garden and make it into her haven?

    Today I have:
    Worked my 5 hour shift
Breakfast and lunch from stores (and SW friendly :) ) - am currently eating the lunch I forgot to take to work yesterday!
Checked banking - car insurance gone out
    Kids took lunches to school
Arranged to have a lift with colleague tomorrow

    And I will:
    Dinner from stores
Sort airer clothes and put away
    More HC inc bedding
Look at weekend list and see what I didnt get done due to bad head
Stick to my diet, must get back to target so that I can start putting the £20 a month in the SA kitty!
Attempt to do a bit more spring cleaning
Check out cost of insurance on cheap car I have seen - Pleasantly surprised to find that the bigger, newer car would be £5 a month cheaper! Now need to find the £800 for the car!
Find out the cost of a small skip for when I clear out the garage

My head is sooo much better now, was touch and go this morning and I wasnt sure I would be able to do my whole shift but all of a sudden, about 2 hours in, my head just seemed to ease and feel less delicate :j I dont ever want that much pain again.

Right, will be back to check in later x x

    Hi everyone

Gosh, aren't we a busy bunch?! I'm feeling kinda left out cos I have no essays to write! :p Have fun with all of that.

    Today I will:

    - NSD at work. Brought in lunch and had crisps from the multipack that i keep locked away in my bottom drawer. Tea/water are free. Had to chuck £1 in a collection for maternity present.
    - Charge mobile at work. :)
    - Have the last portion of moussaka for tonight's tea, but the cupboards are bare so will need to stop off at the shop for something to go with it. 20p for 3 tatties.
    - Get mini-shop to keep us going till payday Ordered big shop for later this week. And stuck to meal plan.
    - Do more planning for wedding invites - ordered cheap (but v pretty) ribbon and card yesterday but might look for some bargain embellishments/sparkles too Ebay is addictive
    - Washing on 30 will do that now.
    - Try not to slip on the icy snow Had almost all gone.
    - Post old mobile if the post office is still open when I leave work Worked too late. Will go tomorrow am.

Lunch time over for me! Catch up with everyone soon.

I've done the washing, showering, putting stuff away and the shopping.
I've also done 115 words of an essay and I think I know how I'm going to go (pitting two critics against each other muhahahahahaaaa)
Then I may start another one, or write up a task, or write some poetry. Needing a little help on metaphysical and romantics if anyone can
    ** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **
    ** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
    **SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.
