Monday 22nd Feb - What small DFW things have you done today!?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important!
Goooooooooood morning people....back to early starts for me;)
I'm going back to work (1st time this year...eeeek:o)...I don't want to do all day though, I thnk I'll be ready to drop by 11am, we shall see.
Hope you all had lovely weekends - was great to see the thread a bit busier:T
My girls had a fab time at their cheerleading competition....their groups came 1st in one and 2nd in the other:beer: We had a quiet day yesterday, homework done, all ready for today.
Ok, list for today:

Hi all,
Had people staying last few days so haven't posted as much as usual.
Today I have/will:
-use reusable nappies and breast feed
-continue with sorting house blitz in a clear house is a clearer mind fashion!
-didn't put an extra bid on a lovely baby blanket on ebay in the last few minutes and so saved some money (am a bit gutted though - it was lovely!)
-meals from planner
-find out more about childcare vouchers before I go back to work
Have lovely days all

morning all
well the weekend was not very dfw at all...
nasty ex oh was horrid to me so to cheer me up we had a girls night out. fantastic time and bumped into a friend i had not seen for 2yrs (sort of moneysaving as her bf offered to do diy for me that i would have otherwise paid for)
freezing here so extra fleece and slippers are on
must do washing (on 30 as now only my stuff)
dishwasher loaded and on quick wash - how i created that much washing up i dont know!
chat with friends on FB rather than texting
go through fridge and see what i can use out of what lodger has left :money:
need to do housework as we trashed my house at the weekend
dinner tonight is jacket spud (2.5kg bag reduced to 20p:money:)
have paid car tax  - must have car to get to work so was essential but i would have preferred to use that money to get boiler checked out as it is still doing odd things...
right am now off for more tea (using flask) and contemplation of putting rubbish outside brrrrrr!
loki xit's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:0 -
I'm sat on a train surrounded by people (not good) and it's raining (not good) but I can't spend any money I think.
Have to: go shopping when I get back
Have a shower
Sort out the washing
Start essay plans** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
