So I called BT, they said that the line is not good so i have to pay 124 pounds then I said I don't want to and I'll check some offers from other providers so the girl suddenly remembered about the 18 month offer and said that I have to pay only 29.99 connection charge, 29.99 is way better than 124 pounds, the ony thing I'm mad about is that an engineer will come only on 15 of March, it's way to long, but can't do nothing about it just have to wait.
    Thanks for all the replies.

They're making this up as they go along, as there has never been a £29.99 BT connection charge. It was either free on the 18m offer, or £125. I hope you got a name and some sort of reference with that, as otherwise I suspect you will find yourself being billed £125 and told that the agent 'must have made a mistake'.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Yes, I have a reference number...the person I talked to repeated about 4 times 29.99 and at the end said again, that I have to call 10 times a week otherwise I'll be charged another 5 pounds, so i really hope it's a not a mistake, let's see what happens afte 15'th of march, fingers crossed.

o2 is one of the best Broadband Providers and it's very cheap, for example I'm a o2 customer already I have a PAYG sim, so I'll pay just 10 pounds per month (otherwise 15 pounds), great speed - 20 Mbps and Unlimited downloads, a laugh when I see 10 or 20 Gb monthly allowances with other providers, I can download 10 Gb just in one day!

Standard O2 LLU price is £7.50 with the £5 mobile discount.

Prior to the free offer it was £29.99. Perhaps BT have introduced a new offer at £29.99.

I know, I'm talking about the Premium account that gives 20 Mbps.

The original offer was £29.99 this then changed to free connection offer but now BT can offer bundles the terms of connection have changed.
Free connection is only available if you take phone broadband and vision.
Its £50 for phone and broadband orders but if you call customer options team (0800800030 opt 1) Free connection is available if you order phone and broadband.
The phone only option with free connection is no longer available.

The previous 18 month offer prior to the free connection was £29.99, not as you quote.

syko29793 a helpful BT employee confirms this.;)
