When my Gran had a semi-detached house, she used to sleep in the little bedroom in the winter to get free heat from next door's fireHere I go again on my own....0

If your really worried you could contact your local fire station who will do a free fire safety check for you:D0

It's a chimney isn't it?
Would that explain the heat?0 -

I have a woodburner and the wall of the room next to it does get quite hot - but not too hot that I can't touch it. As others have said, its free heat. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.0
