your goibng great guns CM- very exciting watching what you get up to -please keep this diary going

A couple of things from me
1) I saw about game swapping on here the other day, just googled and this one has a free 10 day trail which might be good for you ?
http://www.gametart.com/grwa/forms/salesWelcome.aspx
2) my dad was in catering for many years and for extra cash etc he used to do parties/ buffets etc for engagement parties/ birthdays weddings etc? Is this something you could do for extra cash? Or cake making if you are any good for birthdays/ weddings?:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Thanks lynz, Great to here im not boring people too much

I will definately be looking into that website you posted, looks like a great idea. As for the catering/cakes, I really cant see myself getting so much time to do these as these things are very extensive projects to do. My nan used to be a professional cake maker but had to give it up die to illness, guess I could learn this just incase. My nan and grandad also used to do buffets for partys and I used to help out which I enjoyed, but cant really see me having time to do this unfortunately. I do have other sources of income via buying and selling on eBay, but i find my bargains at car boots and its not really the time of year for that. But i do have a few items which im hoping to list tommorow.
Anyway, update for today.
Been at work til 5, have been spending though today. Too much, but not as much as I could have, due to my determination on becoming Debt free, Ive spent;
£2.64 at the post office ( Have sent bank charges reclaim letter off)
£1 at pounland on batteries for digital camera
£7 at blockbusters (' 1 xbox 360 game and 1 dvd)
£1.15 redbull (Need a boost of energy
)
£1.80 chip sho
Total: £13.69
But I was so close to buying a game at blockbusters for £17.99, but managed to escape only borrowing one.
I also got £20 from work today in tips for working Xmas day, which is all good
So the £7 i spent at blockbusters isnt coming out of my Sunday to Friday challlenge
Hope everyone is okay today :beer:0 -
Morning all.
Day has started off bad, just looked on my online banking and noticed ive been charged £60 for a referral fee, what is this?? I accidentally went overdrawn on this account over Xmas, i used the wrong card to pay for some items on the internet and now ive been charged £38 twice and £60. I will try and claim these back, but this is goin to take a while. Already !!!!!! off now
Anyway, have a lot of things to do today. Made a list so I dont forget;
List items on eBay (Only 10p per item today)
Pay off £10 on barclaycard CC
Pay off some of my overdraft
Write a letter of complaint to Currys
Put all the Xmas stuff in loft!
i did need my hair cut but cant be arsed to go out now. Have a good day everyone.0 -
Sort of getting better, if anyones interested :rolleyes:
Have put a small overdraft on my other account to stop any more charges being made against this account, and have also just paid off £49.11 on my Barclaycard credit card (Which i cut up a year ago) so my new and final balance for this credit card it £0.00 :j Thats one debt out of the way now. Time to crack on with the rest.0 -
Well done on getting rid of another debt! :T :T :T

Havnt had a very good day today, ive gone well over my weekly budget and have not got much money to pay bills or live on.
So far ive spent;
£30 rent ( This is budgeted for though )
£6.70 hair cut
£1 bus fair
£10.50 some snacks for hard week at work & alcohol tonight
. Next day off is in 10 days!
£3-£5 taxi later to gf's
And later im going round friends for a few drinks, supposed to be going up town too but have said im skint so will save £30 by not going!
Working all weekend, so hoping to not spend much at all this week. Also working away for two days next week.

:T Well done at paying that debt off, must have been a great feeling. My favourite part is when the next statement arrives and balance is £0

Try LIDL or other shop brands if you must buy the Redbull type drinks, even Tescos own (Kick I think it's called) is only about 25p. Lidls is about 19p.One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Lidl's is good, I usually buy a couple of crates when I'm in there, definitely beats the nearly £1 a tin for Red Bull.
And yep, it's a real thrill when the statement comes through with a £0 balance, or even a negative balance (i.e credit).
Know me for who I am, not for who I say I am.0 -
Hi there. Just wanted to say well done with getting shot of the Barclaycard and also it is great to see your Nan's debt coming down as well, she must be so proud & pleased to see you working hard to pay it back?
I remember when my boyfriend used to work in a pub and do a "nine day straight" between days off, he was always shattered by the end of it so I feel for you embarking on this stretch!
Keep posting! You're doing really well now. Keep it up mate. :TBank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly
