Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

I have finished Monday, Wednesday and Thursday's list now.

Can I have some stars please?

I managed to do our room when DH got up at about 5pm. I finished the bathrooms and study yesterday too. They are much easier to clean now that I keep on top of it each week. Thank you pigpen, soappie and toots!!

I might try to catch up on news while I have the opportunity to use the laptop.

rose, I am pleased you are feeling better today. My dogs, cats, hens etc. do make me feel better. Don't forget you can pm me any time.

The men, well, maybe I shouldn't say how I feel about them. I just don't have the energy to nag at them. None of them emerged before noon today so I got loads done.

toots, I am really tempted to take your advice. I have had an improvement today in that they are smoking outside now! That is DB and his friend.

hugs sandy, I hope things go well with the boss and I am sorry to hear about your cat.

  • I'm slowly trying to grasp the way that this flylady cleaning thing works - I find that all the things on the lists for each day are too much for me as I have to take things slowly and carefully however I have achieved a quick bin bag dance and vacuumed downstairs albeit very gingerly as the dog keeps attacking the hoover - the morale is hoover everyday and then the dog won't bother about this monster who revs and roars !!!!!!
I'll keep reading and am just about to clear out a hotspot and spray bath cleaner and leave it while I sit and have a cup of tea- every little helps I reckon and one day in the future I will earn a star for clearing more than a square inch of dust!!!
May you fill up the great clutterbucket of life and may all of your leaks be in cheese sauce:D
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without:cool:

    Taken DS2 & DS3 to school
    Walked dogs
    Fed & watered chickens
    Watered ferrets
    Put washing away
    Loaded DW

Prepared tonight’s dinner – last night’s roast chicken is now in the slow cooker, together with frozen bag of casserole veg, Mr T’s own chicken casserole mix, plus odds & ends found lurking in freezer.

Decided/planned to bake a loaf in BM to go with tonight’s meal ……. Yum

    To Do:
    Clear kitchen table
[STRIKE]Start wet-cloth wiping down bookshelves in LR & DR [/STRIKE]– shouldn’t have done it, but I’ve only gone & counted them! 90 shelves in LR, floor to ceiling and 42 shelves in DR, floor to ceiling. That’s over 220 feet of bookshelves! No wonder I don’t dust them very often! Mind you, I only dust the front bit, the bit you can see…..well, the rest is covered in books, isn’t it, so I don’t have to worry about that bit :D

Well done Dreamywings and Happy birthday ashia and j-j!!

purpleclutterbuck Just start on level one and see how you go. It gets easier as you go on.

It has taken me about three years to get to be able to achieve stars sometimes. My room of doom took years to sort a little each week:)

WM on, DW on, fire lit.
DS1 finally awake so he's had some breakfast and so far he's kept it down.
I've changed all kiddies bedding, sorted the clean clothes and have all odd socks on the floor to find the pairs as the washing is done. Odd ones will be thrown out when i finish cleaning the car, i always find socks in the car. (confused)

Dusty hubby is doing well, thanks for asking.
