PAYG virgin

Hi all,

Until recently, I was posting under my OH's id (Liz3yy) up until now and have found these boards a minefield of info, so I created my own account!:o)

My question(s) are:

I have been trawling both the internet and the high stret for a PAYG sim only deal, but i dont want the hassle of top-up cards. I just want to pay for the calls you use-nothing else. OH has this with virgin and her bill is only around £4 a month on average!!!! I am currently with 3 and am on the mix and match 300 tarriff which is £15 pm, so naturally i would save £££££'s.

I also want to keep my handset (also with 3) which is a sony erriccson z750i

can anyone help?

Most Pay as you go providers let you register a credit or debit card so you can top up easily online or on the phone without needing to give the full card details each time, so it is pretty easy.
If you are happy to stay with 3 they do this and you can also top up using "My 3" on your handset.

If you post you average monthly usage then people may be able to give you a more exact recommendation

If you both are low users then the cheapest would probably be for you both to move to http://giffgaff.com/ as calls and texts to other giffgaff users are free and their other rates are very low.
giffgaff are owned by O2 and use the O2 network.

On UK Payg Networks as long as you make a call/ send a text every 6 months your credit will roll over. Their is no need to keep topping up every month, until you have to.

For low users who just wish to make calls Tesco Lite Tariff is also worth considering.
